This was a grad level class so it may look different than undergrad. Discussion was a good way to get a lot out of the class, even though reading helps. Know you APA style and triple check your papers for this. He is a ver pleasant teacher, justcome to class and stay on top of assignments. If you can't, be sure to communicate unsual circumstances.

Dr. Kirk is my favorite professor at Liberty. That's saying a lot considering I only had him for a weeklong COMS intensive. His class was fun and interactive, he gave great feedback and encouraged each student as he saw we needed it. Dr. Kirk is confident, caring, dedicated and an all-around expert in his field. Take him when you can!

Dr. Kirk is such an amazing professor. His history in the business of communication is quite evident and useful in the realm of vocal development which is the class I took him for. He is very attentive, funny yet no nonsense. We had a project and quiz every week in which he gave extensive feedback .

I took his COMS 101 class as an intensive over the summr and he was an amazing professor. I was dreading the class because I HATE public speaking but he made it easy to be comfortable and gave good feedback on my topics. I would recommend him to anyone and everyone. He made sure the lectures weren't boring and he has a fun history to talk about.

I was only limited to reviewing one class I have taken with him, but he is by far the best professor at Liberty. He is knowledgeable on everything he teaches and will always respond to any questions you might have. I would recommend any of his classes for communication majors.

Prof. Kirk is a total boss. He won multiple Emmy's throughout his lengthy television career and is always willing and able to pass on valuable advice. I returned to his office months after taking his class seeking help on my demo reel and he took a lot of time out of his schedule to help me out. He is absolutely one of the best at LU!!

Having Mr. Kirk as my COMS 101 professor made giving speeches easy. I am a terrible pubic speaker but he was always friendly and reassuring. He is also very prompt and organized regarding emailing students that need help. I ended up having to email him at late at night and I received a reply within 20 minutes.

Extremely helpful. Knows his topic based on experience. Every student should use him for COMS 101. He engages the students on a daily basis.
