Decent enough professor; certainly not as bad as other professors in the physics dept. His exams are difficult but he tries his best to give a lot of partial credit. Just pay attention to the hw he gives (he hands out a hand-written answer key for all of them) and the steps he uses to solve problems in class and it wont be as bad

Excellent for physics. Explains everything very clearly and take time to help after class. He certainly makes physics easy. This class is fail proof! He allows you to make up the test and practically, you just cant not fail this class. highly recomm.

Unbelievably difficult class. I took it just to fill a requirement (I am an English major) and his emphasis on mathematics is unreal. He assumes that you already know physics and doesn't care to catch up those students who are not already familar, so I was virtually lost except for the basics (e.g. distance from earth to sun, density of Jupiter etc

Really tough teacher. Lectures from beginning to end of class without paying much attention to students with questions. Presents information too quickly - I found that the textbook was much more helpful than the notes from class. Subject material is very interesting if you can get a handle on it.

The worst professor!!... his exams count for 85% of your final grade and the homeowrk is 15%... basically u fail the class if you fail the exams and there is only 3 exams and one exam is the final... he REFUSES to go over homework and practice exams "How are u going to learn then??" The worst never take him if you dont have to!!!!!!!

Extremely hard exams 4which u'd have 2study everynight &read lots of boring crap. He's ugly, not funny,&didnt let his kids have an x-ray for teeth until 20 years later cos the flufer thought itwas dangerous until proven it wasnt. Big idiot,clumsy,reminds me of an aunt i always hated and uses lots of words like "ballpark".I HATE ASTRONOMY!donttakeit

Ridiculously hard class. Don't take it if you just want to fill a science requirement and think it could be interesting. Hardest class I've taken at Hartford. Tests are extremely hard.

Very thorough explanation of everything. SO much work. Every moment of every class period is stuffed with knowledge. You can't help but learn it because he is so sequential. I wish there wasn't so much to learn in class and work to do outside of class but what else is new. Nice guy, boring class.

I slept every day, he knew it, but ended up with a B+ only because lab saved me. He is a little too enthusiastic and assumes everyone can do physics. I actually don't remember anything from that class.
