If you know what you're doing there is no need to come to class, he does't lecture and has stated he has no plans to ever start so if that is your learning style stay away. He is available in class to answer individual questions. The material is laid out in a straightforward manner and he encourages you to work ahead if possible.

Final and Mid - Term are worth 60% of your grade. If you do not have a lot of time to read and study, you will fail this course. The assignments that are provided do not benefit the students and do not help prepare for the exam. Exam Review given is terrible and is extremely vague. If you're looking for a science credit, Opt out of this professor.

I took this as a summer class, 8 weeks, and there were no lectures at all. He sat and did his work while we did all ours on the computers. Everything is on mymathlab, which is a pain to work with sometimes. This is a self taught class so I don't recommend it for anyone that may struggle with math. He will help if needed but no one ever asks.

Maybe have something other than 10 question quizzes that do nothing for your grade? This was the worst online class I've ever taken. This class gave nothing to the people that learn in other ways than reading a book and cramming. The midterm and finals aren't even on the material sent out for us to review and they're worth half your grade.

Only take this class if you're good in math and ready to teach yourself. This was an in-person class but everything is online so it was a waste of time to even show up. He never lectures, he just sits up front. He is willing to help with whatever problems you have, but I felt so out of place. It was very hard for me to pass based on how I learn.

I took this class online, and received a B. Everything was on My Math Lab, very easy to follow. Watch the videos he has posted and take notes on them and you will pass. He responds to emails fast. If you take notes and study its very easy to pass.

I had failed this class with a different professor. With McClintock, I received a B. He said attendance is mandatory, but it was never factored into our final grade. Does not lecture at all but is there for help. He has My Math Lab set up better than any other math teacher with more tools to help. I barely showed up and made it through!

This teacher I would never take again, his finals, and midterms are hard the review is not a review that will prepare you for the final. The worst Semester ever, I hope to pass his class.

Awesome dude. Easy going, and always present. Doesnt lecture at all. You will mainly work on the computer, but he is always willing to help. Understanding when it comes to attendance as long as your work is done. Plenty of time given for assignments. Awesome experience. I would take him again.

He claimed he used the "Flipped classroom" method, he didn't really teach. I took him in-class but EVERYTHING was online. You only go into class for tests or if you want to do work in there, he's there to help. He prefers you don't get ahead but it's easy to do. Some lessons were videos, power point, and textbook. Nice guy, not a fan of his lessons

Typical online math class. Prof. McClintock was very quick to reply to emails and provided clear grading criteria. All coursework is in My Math Lab and most of it can be completed with assistance from sites like Wolfram Alpha. Midterm and final are both 35 questions and 30% of your grade each. Both are done proctored on campus. DO THE REVIEWS.

I would only take this class if you are ready to teach yourself. He never lectured when I took him. And, when I would ask him about something I did not understand, he would not explain very well. He may be a good professor for some people, but not for me.

Professor McClintock is probably my favorite professor. The class time is designed for homework and if you have questions he helps you, so sometimes you teach yourself but the tests were pretty easy you just need to study and practice. Our final is a take home online exam. He's a really nice guy and when you need help, he's there! Would take again

doesn't grade right away but you can expect youll do well on discussions. basic math class tests on mathlab hw and discussions once and a while. no extra credit. tests are very similar to test prep and pretty lax because you can upgrade your hw grade at anytime so falling behind isn't bad but not ideal. goitta have 60% each topic to take tests.

Overall, I liked this professor! I passed with an A after going to tutoring twice a week and I am horrible at math. Be prepared to do a lot of homework (because of MyMathLab) and don't miss too many questions on the HW or else you'll have to do a ton of practice problems before you are able to start quizzes and tests...

I took Prof. McClintock in the summer along side 3 other courses. His instructions and calendar are precise. If you need help, he responds greatly and with proper guidance. I only wish I took him in lecture. The quiz' help prepare you for the midterm and final. I would highly recommend him.

McClintock will help you if you need it. I received a 98% in the class because I learned the material. Some students did not care therefore did horribly. Allows notes during tests; learn the material and you will pass. I attended class maybe 5 times. Since it's taught through my math lab, he does not lecture rather class time is for questions.

Professor McClintock is a great teacher. We read the chapter at home and do the homework and ask questions in class. You get to go at your own pace. I finished the course in 3 months!
