Bruce was one of the best art profs I have had. He was so funny and class was so relaxed all of the time. Bruce really cared for his students, even though he struggles with names. He always left a smile on my face. He is also SUPER good at drawing and knows what he is doing. Listen to his advice and do your work and you will pass with an A.

Definitely an interesting person. Don't miss class, though he doesn't take attendance he has a good memory. Does weird projects that sometimes don't make sense, has 'family drawing days' once a week where you just sit and draw as a class. He doesn't give grades for anything! If you want to know how you're doing you have to ask him personally.

Bruce is a ****. He is really different in what he wants students to push and I think that is a good thing. He will not allow a mediocre or cliched image be used and it opens up your perceptions as an artist. I would highly recommend this dude, and although hes chill with names and such, you gotta hand it to him, hes funnier than any prof ever.

Bruce rocks. Very easy going unless you try to submit a hamburger and try to call it a steak. Then he will nail you to the wall. But this is good, not everyone "gets" what the difference between a steak and a burger really is. He will do his best to expand your sense of "taste."

Bruce is a nice guy, but I've had better art profs. He isn't very encouraging, and doesnt seem to want to take the time to really help. he seems to play favorites, and if you're not one of them, he couldn't care less. If you aren't his standard of a good artist, he makes you feel stupid about it.

A hard but good teacher. I started this classing knowing nothing about drawing, and I now can draw well. Bruce is set on his own ideas and opinions, and although I struggled with that, he has good insights and techniques which in the end only helped me.
