He is the best professor ever! I would be so proud to be one of his grandchildren. Best decision ever to take this class from Woolley. I also loved hearing all his stories (mostly about missionaries).

Professor Woolley is the best professor you will ever have! He is hip and the bomb! I have never been in the presence of such greatness! Before this class I didn't know what learning was!! He is the apple to the science pie! He taught me so much and I appreciate all the effort he put into his lectures!!

I love Woolley! He is so knowledgeable and extremely helpful if you are preparing to work as a health professional. Sometimes he gets caught off guard telling stories but what "older" person doesn't? Compared to the workload and testing of other Pathophysiology classes this is by far the best.

He's a nice, old man. Yes, people may be confused about the subject matter, but the T.A. reviews explain everything you need to know... and more. Not a hard class. He is retired, laid back, and is generous with the curve. People need to stop complaining, he is the smartest guy I know, and it's a worthwhile class for future health professionals:)

Woolley is the best D&C teacher ever. No memorization of useless facts. No extra readings or books. Just him and the D&C. There's a little quiz everyday on the previous day's material. Tests are open book and the test questions give the reference!

Dr. Wooley is the BEST religion teacher ever, his lectures are captivating and he knows the D&C so so well! He has mini quizzes daily that test you on material covered from the previous class. Attendance is a MUST. His tests are relatively stress free, I would highly recommend him if you need to take D&C. I loved it!

I took PDBio 561 and 365 from him and learned so much. He is very approachable and really explains the true real-world clinical sides of things. Sometimes his tests consist of things he has never covered in class, but he gives an amazing curve. Presentations are super easy and relaxed in his class too.

Comment:
Taking PDBio 561 and 365 from him are 2 of the best things you can do to prepare for med school. He teaches everything from a clinical aspect, so if you don't care what it is like outside of academia, don't take a class from him. Yes, he tests on some things he doesn't cover in class, but he knows that and compensates for it. (~50% on 561 final=A)

Avoid Dr Wooley. I learned almost nothing from him. The TAs were the most helpful part of the class. If you are forced to be in his class and sit through his never finished 300 slide lectures, at least get to know the TAs. They write the tests and have reviews that will tell you what you need to study. Seriously do not take any class from him.

I learn nothing in his class. He rambles on about everything but pathophysiology. I learned more in 1 visit with the TA (Brad) than I did in weeks of Dr. W's lectures. Go see the TAs! They write the tests and actually teach you the material!

Comment:
The course content is very interesting. Dr. Woolley is a horrid instructor. What he teaches you will not be on the test. What he does not teach you will be. To say the class lacks organization is generous. The curve will probably fix everything, but it won't be a pleasant experience. Take a different class.

Excellent man. Very intelligent. Incredibly nice. Exceptionally UNORGANIZED. Lectures are near worthless except for his hints. See Brad, the TA. He was very helpful. Jerom was not. Dr. Woolley was very generous with the curve.

Dr Woolley is a great teacher. He knows his stuff. He does go off on tangents and his TAs write the tests, but he is very fair in his grading w/ a generous curve. He also repeatedly hints as to what "might be on the test"-write that stuff down- it usually is on the test.

Comment:
Dr. Woolley knows his stuff but he doesn't focus very much on patho. He goes off on huge pharmacology tangents that have no relevance to this class. He doesn't care much about the students so you have to rely on TA's alot. In fact, his TA's are the ones that write his tests.

This guy doesn't really even teach what's on his tests... in fact, the TA's write the test for him for the most part. And his powerpoints are really lengthy and incomprehensible.
