I asked her for help and she would not even help me, she said that there was nothing she could do for me and that I should just drop the class...all her test were not even over what she lectured on! I WOULD NEVER SUGGEST TO TAKE HER

Biology is tough, so I don't think it's totally her fault that her class was hard. She could've changed her lecture style because a lot of students and I had trouble following along, but she did try to help out anyone in my class if we were having trouble. And you don't need a book! The tests are hard though, so take good notes and STUDY!!!!

With this teacher you need no book! all you have to do is take all the notes and study EVERYTHING in the notes which is not that hard and you will do fine! all the people that are complaning about her on this site are prlly ppl who never study. so if you study its good for you!

I do not recommend this teacher for biology. You could take all lecture notes and still not do well on the tests. Most of the class dropped, including myself who had a 3.9 GPA and never dropped a class! Too Hard!

Well basically, the class was 'overbooked' to start with, and at the end of the semester we have eight people left. Yah not that interesting, fun, enlightening or ANYTHING for that matter. the lecutres are dry, the labs oh boring and attendance not required. spits when talks =)

All tests are from notebook. Dont buy the book, recycles quizzes. About 50% of the class dropped, i went from an A to a C by the end. She does curve, but dont get excited it doesnt help. I heard a guy that is a bio teacher there is good, i would recommend

This is NOT an easy class- be prepared to study! An immense amount of material is covered every class. You'll need the book to clarify. 90% of the lab final is the rat dissection. Final exam is NOT multiple choice. Lots of "fill in the blank" on

Easy class great teacher, all exams taken directly from lecture notes, drops lowest test of only 4. No homework or book even needed. Makes subject fun, enthusiastic about it.
