Comment:

Very nice woman. She is extremely knowledgeable in the field of Creative Arts. She was often absent due to her health, but she made every effort to be in class. "Music of the 17th Century" was basically an easy A, and I always looked forward to her class. Highly recommended.

Comment:

While she may be quite erratic, Dr. Burns was is a great professor at Siena. Her Foundations class was more rigorous than others', but with good reasons. She preps the class extremely well for the readings and is very enthusiastic about the class. Show up, pay attention and do the assignments and you will be fine. A very memorable teacher.

This teacher is nuts, she acts like her class is really easy and structured until the last month of class. She assigns two semesters worth of material in a month, because she forgot about it. She is also late everyday, and marks you as absent if she doesnt feel you participated enough.

Dr. B is a very nice woman, but her foundations class was just a joke until the end of the semesters. The final paper wouldn't have been bad if she gave us a little bit of a warning. Easy grader on tests, which need a little bit of preparation, but nothing to stress out about.

Awful. I feel like she may have written the good reviews herself. Our class was the only one with exams, which are unnecessary. She no longer even teaches the class, she assigns students to do so. We have about a week left and she is starting to talk about our final 12 page paper which she has just changed the topic on again. DO NOT TAKE!!!!!!

I was fooled by all the good ratings for this teacher. Our foundations class wrote a 10 page paper about nature 1st semester and a 20 page paper 2nd semester which was MUCH more then any other class. Shes also completely unorganized and involves her personal life into our class time and isn't worth the aggravation. DON'T TAKE!!!!

Great Teacher. I am averaging an A+ in her class. Study for her tests starting a week before and you will do very well. Very easy to talk to. If you get a chance to take do so. Sometimes the lecture is boring, but she makes it interesting by adding a side story. She is very easy to understand.

You have to love Dr B she is very outgoing and fun/will go to any length to help her students In fact her only flaw is that she sometimes lets them walk all over her She is extremely lenient and wants everyone to do well in her class From what I hear of others this is def the best found class!!!

An amazing little ball of energy! I love her to death. She makes her classes so interesting and fun. I am blessed to have her for foundations from what i'm hearing about every other professor. Dr. B is infectiously happy, and does a killer southern accent. Take her, take her, TAKE HER!
