During labs she just sat at her desk & never helped students. She confuses herself when lecturing & goes VERY fast. For tests, she tells us to study the worksheets given, but the tests end up being much harder/complex. She often made simple topics incredibly confusing. Oh, & she moved our final exam a WEEK earlier so she could go on vacation.

Prof. Javed has been one of my favorite profrs thus far. This is my senior year at UCF and I've attempted taking chem 2 there but I just couldn't get it. She's very clear & will answer your questions in detail. The class requires hard work & consistency just like any other course. The hw assigned help! If you put in effort & time you will get an A

Very disorganized. Gets herself confused when lecturing which then confuses the students. Doesn't explain most labs fully to what is going on. Only explains how to do them. Then grades extremely hard for little mistakes. Honestly, had to teach ourselves in study groups outside of class to be able to get even B's on the exams. But she is friendly.

Her class is difficult. It takes a lot of memorization. She does have homework but all the answers are in the back, doesn't grade for correct answers. Labs are extremely important! But lecture attendance is not counted. Very hard to understand at times. Thick accent. Overall just study enough and pay attention to dates!!

She knows her chemistry but seriously shouldn't be teaching it! Spends a lot of time going over the easy concepts but rushes through the hard ones. VERY UNCLEAR! Always says "Read the syllabus" but the syllabus is hard to comprehend just like her accent. Extremely unfair grader!! Save your $$ or take CHEM with a better professor.

Very nice woman, but a very hard class. Chem is always going to be hard, but she tends to over-complicate simple ideas. But, If you work hard you will do well. Must check email ALL the time. She sends hw and test info through atlas. She follows her syllabus and usually taught through the lab period. Also, she has a strong accent. So watch out. (:

She is a very sweet lady, but she tends to focus on the none important areas then tries to rush through the more difficult things. I area's like chemistry we need structure and this was something I didn't get in this class. Although I got a B I learned nothing.. It's hard for her to finish a complete thought. My favorite science professor so far! She is extremely sweet and goes to great lengths to explain everything so the whole class understands. The tests and labs are pretty tough, but if you practice you WILL get it. She gives you everything you need to succeed in this class. I'm taking her for CHEM 1045 next semester.

I don't know what some of these people on here are talking about...THIS TEACHER IS TERRIBLE!!! I'm serious, do not take her. I'm an A student struggling in this class and I study for weeks before the tests and can barely get a C. If you did not take intro to chm, do not take this teacher. No extra credit, no curving, hard multiple choice on tests.

This professor is really really good. She wants you to succeed. If it is a hard test she finds ways to give you points and curve it. Gives the answers to homework questions, powerpoint is online, review sheets for tests, gives worksheets to help naming compounds. Excellent teacher,, very funny!! Wish I could take her for Chem 1 and 2.

Prof Javed is such a sweet lady. She genuinely wants you to excel in her class and to have an interest in chm. If you have any questions you can always go to her. She's a little slow with emails but she does send outlines for her quizzes and tests. Helps your grade if you attend lab and do the lab ?'s. Be good to her and shell be good right back!

Professor Javed is a great professor. I believe that some of the prior ratings have been unfair. Chemistry is a difficult subject and we are rating the professors that teach it NOT the material. She makes every subject very clear and does not let students fall behind. She takes time out to make sure you understand and she is always available.

Professor Javed was a very good Chemistry teacher. She is not that difficult to understand and tells you exactly what you need to know for her tests.
