I am so glad I had him for Stats. I hated math in high school, and he turned that around. One of the coolest teachers I've had. Genuinely cares about his students. Makes learning fun. Easy A.

Horrible... he is not passionate about his job and it shows in class. He give an excessive amount of homework and his lectures are not helpful what so ever. If you want to pass business math I do not recommend you take this Professor. A MAJORITY of the class received Fs on the exams. Waste of money, time, and effort!

Best. Professor. Ever. Im so glad I took his class this semester!! I hate math, but I actually looked forward to going to this class. His lectures are awesome and I love the mini life lectures he gives. He speaks the truth and really wants whats best for his students. I wish I could take more classes with him!

Professor Cochran was by far the best Math teacher I have ever had. I wish he would have been able to teach math 12 this semester. He wants you to learn and wants you to pass the class. He is available after hours most days for additional help if needed.

Professor Cochran is the man. I never met a professor like him. If you don't understand something, he will not make you feel bad, he will not make sure you get it before class is over. He applies great knowledge and gives great peptalks to have you think about life.

He lets us use our phones. My giant group of friends and I just text answers throughout each exam (yes, even the final). There is take home exams as well. He gives out plenty of extra credit and he curves your grades. It is literally impossible to fail. I ended up with an A in class. Best professor ever. I wish he taught at UCR :(

GREAT TEACHER, GO TO CLASS, DO ALL OF YOUR ASSIGNMENTS, TAKE GOOD NOTES AND YOU WILL PASS. TONS OF GROUP WORK WHICH HELPS OUT. GIVES TONS OF TAKE HOME TESTS. GIVES EXTRA CREDIT, MAKE SURE TO READ THE BOOK.

Short tests - Study guide not very helpful on tests, very good for midterm and final. Tests are mainly based on in class notes. In-Class and take home midterm and final(take home pretty much extra credit). Non-Mandatory Homework but gives extra% for completion. Ask intelligent questions or WILL embarrass you. I am bad at math. Have taken this class a couple times before and had to drop. This professor explains the math concepts good, has pre-test group practice quizzes (which helps those of us that are not math wizzes), is always there to answer any question (never makes you feel stupid) and takes any questions about homework before it is due. Take him!

I don't care for math, but I really enjoyed this class having Cochran as my professor. The class is pretty straight forward. You pay attention, ask questions and do the hw since it really helps. I liked that he gives practice tests that you do in groups and then the real test is almost identical. He'll even teach you about business and real life.

Professor Cochran is a motivated individual and tries to channel his energy to others. He knows Math no doubt, but is more interested in the success of his students in life and business. In class you take many practice tests in groups and his mid term and final is 2 sections, a take home portion and an in class portion. He teaches more than Math!

What a great professor! I failed this class a couple times before passing with this guy... with an A! He explains everything very clearly and offers many practice exams. You work in groups and get extra credit. Im sooo sad he's not teaching my next math class. What will I do without him??

Professor Cochran is really helpful you can tell he cares about his students. Make sure to go to class because if you miss one day youll be lost the next. Fun class hes hilarious, but make sure to study all the practice quizzes AND do the homework he assignes because some of those exact probs are on the test!
