Such a great professor, very kind and understanding. If you do all the rough drafts/essay (easy), journal (free writings or opinion writings), and show up to peer edit you'll pass easily. Also if you're absent she allows you to turn in your assignments via email before class is over and will give you full credit.

This professor was very sweet. She is not very understanding of late work at all though. She requires proof if you had an issue that prevented you from turning in a paper or assignment. Her assignments weren't too hard. She is very liberal, and I dont recommend doing a paper that is completely against her views. She is a great prof for beginners

A real sweetheart! I would highly recommend taking her classes if you can! Only downside is that other students often walked all over her kindness and it was hard to watch her regain control of the rude individuals.

Very laid back professor. Attendance is not mandatory. Her rule is it's your money, you do what you please with it. Very detailed rubric for her essays, hard to fail her class. Gives time in class to finish andor catch up on homework. Lots of video clips shown in class. Lots of John Oliver clips. Overall easy class, if you do your work.

Helpful teacher, easy to talk to, grades fairly, 2 absences okay, no late work, so do all assignments on time and you will do fine! daily writing notebook entries and writing portfolio. I think she is a wonderful instructor- would happily take another class with her again.

Mrs Dubay is a good instructor. She does a good job of explaining what is expected of you as a student. If you do all of your work and you turn it in on time you will have no issues. As a student who hasn't taken any classes since high school (nearly 8 years ago), I have been able to get all A's in her class. I never had an A in high school english

i loved her class. this class was the first class i'd ever taken in college after being out of high school for almost ten years. if you're nervous about coming back to school and not sure what you've forgotten, she moves somewhat slowly and is great if you need help with anything. i would definately take her class again.

A very nice and understanding person. Has a genuine love for teaching English. Grades without a bias and (because it was her EN100 class) didn't expect/require highly professional writing to get an A. I had her for a weekly night class and we were allowed two absences. Wrote reflective journal entries. Our papers used different writing styles.

She was/is my favorite EN teacher. I try to squeeze her into my schedule every year with no success. She was very helpful and funny. She allows you to write about whatever you want and she grades without a bias. Super nice lady!!
