Great professor. Extremely helpful. Difficult class, especially if math not your thing but do the homework and quizzes on time, take advantage of tutoring offered and you'll be fine. Online course compass a drag and tedious but manageable.

i took this class online which i dont recommend unless you dont procrastinate and take it as seriously as a lecture course. i was taking 19 hours and this was my last priority. definitely doable but not a walk in the park. as far as blackmon ive never met her but i hear shes a good teacher if you put in the effort to learn.

Ms. B was was very helpful and made great suggestions such as attending SIP and tutoring. The class will not be easy if you are not good at math but if you put forth effort and practice on course campus you will do fine. Alot of time is needed to be successful so if you don't feel like you will have enough time, DON NOT TAKE THIS COURSE.

MS BLACKMONE NEEDS TO RETIRE..i would have done great in the class if she would have gave some credit for showing your work during each exam..but no instead you're graded only on whether u get the answer right..she curved only one exam..SHES impossible if you're not the best in math..FIND A TUTOR FAST!

Really knows the material very well. There is a lot of opportunity for the student to learn. She is willing to help you outside of class with questions you may have. Not necessarily a 'walk in the park' class, but provides very good foundations for future math courses. Highly recommended. You will learn a lot. The teacher is there to help students.

Online is difficult. Homework assignements were every other day and took me at least 2 or more hours tom complete. Should not be taken online if you are not good at math, even with a tutor. She is fairly generous with tests, and quizzes. Will require a lot of work done on your own.

No surprises with Mrs. B. She's very organized and very clear about what is expected. Attendance taken every day. Homework is online and mandatory. Expect frequent quizzes, usually in class, sometimes online. She provides notes on Blackboard which are excellent for preparing for the four tests and departmental final exam.

This teacher is a good teacher. I don't know why others have complained. She explains things very well in her lectures and lets you know what you need to know for her quizzes and tests. So far she has given us like a 4 point curve for each exam. Easy class & decent teacher!

She explains everything you need to know. The only complaint I have is she does some of the quizzes and all the homework online. The homework isn't too bad. The quizzes suck! I did the work right but many times I type the wrong thing. So check all your work. Be prepared for quizzes at least once a week, in class or online. The class isn't too bad.

One of the best teachers I have ever had. Very organized, very helpful. If you put in the work on your side (hello...this is school)-get your homeworks done etc-tests should not be hard. i have struggled with math for a long time and i feel so confident in it now. put in the work-get an A and learn what you need for 151! GREAT TEACHER.

She is an outstanding teacher, but she will not sugar-coat the material at all. She tells you the material is difficult up front, and she expects you to do the work in learning it. She is tough, but fair.
