Curley = NOT a good teacher, only reason I do well is because I took calc in high school and its repetitive, that said if he did teach new material it would be impossible, he isn't clear in teaching. You don't really need to show up to class but he will give you a laugh ie. flipping a coin to make one of three choices. ONLY TAKE IF YOUVE HAD CALC!!

Funny guy. Will say almost anything. Often shows youtube videos during lecture. One time he talked about Steve McQueen for 20 minutes. Oh i almost forgot to mention that the actual class can be complicating at times but once you understand his tests it is really easy to get by with at least a B

Curley sucks. The only good reviews on this site were either written by him or he asked students to write them. Do not take him. I'm not sure if he actually grades the final exams. I think he just drops you a letter grade. Because that has happened to me twice now and when asked what my grade was on the test, he wouldn't get back to me. HATE HIM!

Professor Curley is a great man. His class may be a little boring at times, but it is calculus...He is funny, and was very clear about what would be on the exams. I would take another class with him in a heartbeat. Plus, he gives you cake and ice cream! He is always available after class to help as well. Recommended!

i love carlos! such a nice guy. i would take him for any math class. in calc we had no tests, just quizzes every other week or so. if you do the homework, you'll be fine :)

Awful teacher. I took him for Calc I and II, and the only reason i took him for Calc II was because I knew I wouldn't be able to handle another teacher based off of what i learned from curley. If you write not finished on a test you get full credit but if you try a problem and get it wrong you get no credit. DO NOT TAKE HIM. HE IS CLUELESS!!!

I had Prof. Curley for Calculus I and he is an awesome teacher. As long as you pay attention in class and take notes, you will do great on the tests. I definitely recommend him. P.S. If your class is good, he will bring in cake, ice cream, and other snacks :)

Professor Curley is a pretty funny guy he'll have you laughing but that's about all he offers. He isn't very clear with the material and if your having trouble your better off with a TA. Nice guy but made calculus suck for me.

Prof. Curley is a really nice guy, however, he is NOT a good teacher. He copies his notes word for word to the board and doesn't look up to see if we have questions. He gives a lot of handouts that don't really make sense. Tests are HARD and are a decent part of your grade. Class is rather boring, I found it hard to pay attention. Good luck.

Prof. Curley is a great guy. He loves to use visuals for examples and if an avid believer of partial credit. Always willing to see you in office hours and will go over anything you don't understand. I dislike math and he made the class bearable.

This class was a joke. It's extremely easy if you've already taken calc. Curley never looks anyone in the eye and mumbles, but I would take his class just because it's not stressful. You have a quiz every Friday and a Final.

AWFUL teacher. When it comes to anything other than calculus, good luck trying to learn. He is always all over the place and just copies his notes (that another professor gave him) straight from the book to the board. If you ask for an explanation, he re reads what he wrote. Terrible.
