Excellent professor; knows the topic (USFP) really well. Great lectures, good discussions, interesting class. You have to write short papers that her TA grades, but if you don't like the grade from the TA she may raise it if you talk to her. Definitely worth taking.

Great lectures. Be willing to work hard for an A. She can be scary, but is also approachable and friendly outside of class for academic advice. If you do the work, you'll learn a lot. One of the best classes and best professors I had. Very useful class for Foreign Service Written Exam.

Domestic Sources of USFP. Who thought she was hot? I don't think she is hot at all. For me, she goes kinda quickly even she had two and half hours long. I did not understand what to write in the assignments she gave. Well, not a bad teacher, but I wouldn't recommend you to take her as an elective class.

Very intelligent and challenging. Class was like a seminar, 30% participation, 40% major paper and oral presentation, 30% final. All aspects of this course were challenging. If you like to participate in class and want a really good challenge, take Professor Murray. Difficult A, Easy B.

Great prof - very knowledgeable and delves deep into issues that aren't discussed in the mainstream media or general public. Can be hard, but the challenge of the class is buttressed by information presented and debate/discussion offered - would recommend.

She is very intelligent and always interesting. Very down to earth, humorous, a great class to be in - you have to work for an A but can be lazy and get a B. Also laid back, won't let the class get off track but jokes around too - isn't a stickler for time. Recommended, definitely.

Great professor. Her classes are always interesting and you learn a lot. She's not insanely difficult, but you do have to work for the grade. She does allow rewrites, so even if you don't do so well initially on a paper, you can make it up later. Great professor, highly recommend!!

If you have a basic knowledge of IR,attempt to do most of the readings and take good notes you will do fine. The class moves fast and she doesn't allow the class to get off-track. I got an A- w/o ever doing a rewrite.Loved it
