Shes an awesome teacher. Love her. She makes me want to be a history major! Extremely funny and engaging. 2 exams, 2 quizes, only best one of each counts. Essay at the end. I dont know about the other raters, but her class was really easy.

She is very clear, nice, and helpful. She will give you plenty of chances to get an A in her class with extra credit. If you use the syllabus and make sure you know the test reviews that she passes out you'll ace the class. She will let you drop the lower of the 2 open book tests and 2 midterms. This was my first time back to school in over fifteen

Taking her currently for 17C. She is an incredibly vibrant speaker during her lectures, very clear and very passionate, you can't help but be engaged in what she's discussing. I can't say much regarding what material she uses from which text (possibly Divine like previous comments), but you will definitely not regret taking her, hands down.

took her for both 17b and c the best teacher in this area. her lectures are so entertaining, she is so funny and cute. cant recall her ever wearing the same outfit twice. you can drop lowest of 2 quizes and tests.. extra credit oppurtunity.. easy A if you put in the effort and pay attention and do the papers. impossible to get a C, unless you try.

She's great! Has a good personality and her lectures are never boring. You will get a good grade in her class if you pay attention. There isn't that much reading and she only counts one of two midterms (the one with the better grade). So if you take her, i'm sure you'll be happy.

Very cool teacher that explains everything you need to know to get a good grade. Go to class and hear what she has to say to do well on exams. She gives you a review sheet before every test which she tells you the answers to. All in all, the whole class was very easy until the final came around. Take her, you won't regret it.

Clear lecturer, and a nice personality. Although the reading can be a bit much, it's better than some other DA history teachers (some had up to 100 a week). Don't bother with Oates book (cuts reading in half), she doesnt test on that. Pay attention in class and to the Devine book you'll get a good grade. Do her extra credit for exam insurance.

SOOOOOOOOOO MUCH READING! her midterms are from the book so you need to keep up with the reading since she assigns sooo much. hard class..you to write an essay too and she grades pretty hard. easy class to get a B...gotto work hard for an A cuz probably only 3-4 students get an A.

Excellent lectures. Assigns a very reasonable amount of reading (never more than 40 pages a week). And an easy pace to follow. Pay attention in class and do the reading and u'll get a good grade

cool, funny, old-school black lady. EASY A: 1 of 2 midterms, 1 of 2 quizzes, 1 essay (not too bad), 1 final. openbook quizzes that're literally STRAIGHT-out the book. offers E.C. from the questions in the Oates book, but she goes over it in class so just copy down answers and re-type it and free extra credit! actually made me interested in history!
