Prof Cathy is caring and extremely knowledgeable. However, I felt that a lot of the materials covered in class went over a lot of our heads. Final was tough and group assignments took 15 hours to complete. Walked away with solid macroecon knowledge though, helpful for reading WSJ among other business articles.

The best thing you can do in this class is make 100% sure you get the best team members, because it is very team/homework heavy. The class is already very challenging, but if you end up on a bad team it will be completely miserable. You will have to earn this credit so don't fall behind. Did I mention be on a good team? Professor is accessible

Expect to devote a ridiculous amount of time to this class. Probably over 600 pages of reading and 40 hours of lecture. Expects a ridiculous amount of participation for discussion boards and still only gives 80 percent credit. Group homework assignments are time sinks, and the final worth 40% of your grade will eat up an entire day of your life.

F742 elective - Kelley Direct MBA or MS_F program. Grad course. Many hours of pre recorded video lecture. Good lectures, but complext topic and fast cadence. Toughest class I've taken. I'm have 25 years global finance experience. Its tough. Entire textbook covered in 12 weeks. Homework counts. Only 1 exam -a Final and it is cumulative.

Probably one of my favorite professors at IUPUI. Gives great feedback if you ask for it. She really knows her stuff. Her lectures can be difficult to follow because of the sometimes really complicated topic, but if you dont quite get it stop by her office or after class and she will explain it until you understand.

Awesome professor. She is very intelligent, extremely helpful, and I always found her lectures interesting. The material is challenging, but if you study hard and attend class you will do well. F494 is great if you are interested in forex trading and international economics/finance.

She is very tough and she knows the material extremely well. Tests are all essay questions and if you don't study you will not pass this class. You will learn alot about forein investments and forex trading.
