Comment:

Kit is good at what she does but she doesn't teach very well because she moves too fast and seems not to understand that this is the first time seeing the material. That being said though, If you dedicate much time outside of class, you'll do fine in the class.

Comment:

I first just want to put out there that I think Kit is an awesome person, and she's very sweet. Lab was very straightforward and enjoyable. However, the lecture exams were the hardest exams I've ever taken and really impacted my grade. Being a student who has honors society recognition, I struggled in this class a lot because of the exam questions.

Not a fan at all. Very hard and she holds you accountable for every picture, saying, and piece of text ever mentioned in class including all videos. She is very all over the place during lecture and is hard to follow. Good luck studying. Very difficult exams. Straight memorization, causes much anxiety.

I love KitKat but I had her for the Biology of Birds which is a very interesting and excited class. KitKat is very knowledgable in the subject and it is a great class for non science majors. On the last week of class we watch bird videos on youtube.

HARD class, BAD professor. She is a pretty nice lady, but she just reads off her powerpoint and really doesn't explain concepts well. Eventually, I stopped going to lecture and did better just reading the text (but you have to read it at least twice).. I think a lot of people were shocked at how hard the tests were, so study hard

She is a great professor. Get the powerpoints off webct before class and do the review questions at the end of the chapter or off of webct and the tests wont be as hard. She is great in lab, too. Very enthusiastic and you can e-mail her with questions and get an answer back asap. She is very devoted to teaching and is interested in her students.

She is a great woman, but she just reads off of her power points. The beginning of the semester was long, but near the end she began incorporating movie clips to make the class more interesting. She is available for help, and she is very enthusiastic about being a professor, which is cool.

Kit is a very nice person, enthusiastic, and answers all of your questions. She doenst give organized lectures, but along with the book, the tests are very easy. She picks short answer questions that are diagrams in the book. The labs are tougher than the lecture.

This class was a peice of cake esp with Kit teaching. Anyone that says it was "hard" obviously never had to study biology in any depth. It's a superficial overview of basic biology with a stress on human form and function. Kit is VERY helpful and she can answer just about any question imaginable.

kits tests are superhard,you better know your stuff inside out, becuz she takes qs from anything and everything - figures, class notes, book, review qs, critical thinking,be prepared to devote alot of your time to studying/reading your bio book and notes. she is super fair and nice and very helpful
