Lectures were rather boring, but the class was rather easy for a 200 writing class. recommend for those needing a writing credit. Study the online study questions, as they are directly the quiz questions.

Dr. Milovanovic is a wonderful person and a terrific professor. I recommend her classes to anyone. Her quizzes are weekly, 40% of your grade, and exactly what she says they will be. She has made learning Latin manageable and enjoyable and is all in all a great person! Who says Latin is a dead language?!

She's not the most exciting lecturer, and her stories tend to ramble on and go nowhere. She makes the most exciting myths boring and tedious. The quizzes are extremely hard and are very specific. Avoid her at all costs, especially if you care about your GPA.

Easy grader. Charming lady. She is extremely informative and knows a ton about classical studies. Classical Mythology is a very fun and interesting class and I recommend taking it. One requirement is reading The Iliad but the translator she requires made it more complicated than it needs to be. Do the readings and pay attention to the lecture.

Very pleasant and appreciates effort from the student. Learned a lot about Latin (we didn't have much time for Greek) that has helped me in literature courses. Her accent was not an issue. Her speech pattern was mesmerizing.

Not a bad professor, not a great professor. The class was pretty easy and interesting. Graded pretty easy and is a nice lady. The only thing I have not enjoyed was presenting a Greek play. Maybe she thinks playing dressup is a good alternative to lecture.

I don't know why people complain about her ability with english--it's outstanding. Never once did a thick accent affect my understanding of what she was saying. She is a very, very, sweet lady, too.

Remember, English is not her 1st language. Probably not her 2nd or 3rd. Maybe her 4th, so the accent is heavy. Her tests were simple if you are familiar with greek mythology. Translate a sentence or two & you can BS the rest of the way through. She also took time to step back and re-examine material as needed, but you need to show some eff

I can't say i learned anything from this class. I went in thinking she would go over everything in detail, but she just zipped through everything. When I asked for some clarification on things she just said that some things are confussing and that you just need to figure out what is what. I you have not background in Latin, don't take this class.

I learned nothing from this class. I thought I was taking Latin and Greek Term. and there was no Greek and didn't learn any form of terminology. It was like a spelling class for a latin child. Don't ever take it!!!!!

Oh my God, she is so sweet. I was doing horrible in the beginning of this class, but she worked with me, and now I'm passing. She rewards students who make a good effort...in fact, all you have to do is go to her for help, and she'll help you out with anything. Knowledeable in many, many things! Very sweet!

Very clear in materials presented, but she lets people who have had 4 years of highschool Latin in this class and caters the class to their pace. She covers a lot of material quickly, so those of us who have never had Latin struggle to get by.
