Comment:

This class makes you street because of the amount of content that gets covered. But as long as you attend lecture and take notes in the class notebook you should get decent grade on the exam. Exams are open note and open book (better know what chapter you are looking for since there is lots of content). Curves heavily, few hw assignments.

Talk about easy... Open book, open note exams, makes taking the test a breeze. Also, he curved each midterm by like 10 points. He shows all sorts of videos in class and they are usually pretty funny. He has a great personality and he tries to make class fun. I didn't think I would like this class but it turned out to be one of my favorites!

Open book open note exams. Gives you a course set of notes to just fill in as he talks. Like 5 homework assignments due throughout the semester that won't be a problem if you've gone to class. Online homework has a step by step breakdown option if you can't figure it out. Then there's just a book you read throughout the class with exam questions.

Comment:

Excellent class with fantastically applied math! Recorded step by step problems solved invaluable. Minimal discussion requirement-covering interesting and applied reading. The Myomlab site was easy to navigate and their recorded videos were helpful too. Prof. Munson has a great dry sense of humor which was evident in his weekly announcements.

Hes definitely the best, very knowledgeable on the material, and wants students to succeed. His tests are open notes open book and he gives a study guide. I would DEFINITELY recommend him!

Munson was an amazing professor, he was always avaialable to help with questions and clarifying difficult topics. He tries to keep things interesting with exampled and class discussion. Attendance isn't mandatory but you will fail if you don't go

Tests are difficult and require critical thinking, not regurgitation, but he grades on a curve and they're open book, open notes. I had no interest in this course before but ended up really enjoying it. Shows lots of examples and video clips in class. He's hands down the best professor I've ever had. I wish I had more room to rave about him!

This class had more math in it than I had expected and many in the class struggled. However, I did well in Statistics so it was straight forward in my opinion. Teacher was very responsive especially if you used the "ask professor" button in MyOMLab (the online book and homework site). Took this online and the content worked fine for that venue.

Dr Munson is without a doubt the most talented professor I've encountered, and a cut above the rest at WSU's already outstanding business school. He inspires genuine interest in the material and provides crystal clear instruction and feedback. After having taken every class he offers, I wish he had time for more. -D.M.

I took the online version of MGTOP340 and I will say that the class can be passed and you can do well in it, but you are doing everything from the book. The instructor offers no explanation or break down for any of the work and if you ask a question after Wednesday he will not get back to you before the assignment is due.
