Good teacher, his class is not easy but he is always willing to help you. As long as you show interest on the class you'll do fine.

Very poor communication skills. Uses jargon unneccesarily in his lectures and on his tests. His tests probably wouldn't be too bad if only you could decipher what he is asking. His lectures are nothing more than him rambling which is unfortunate because most of the time it is irrelevant to the course.

Charles is one of those instructors that some will love and some will hate. Perspnally, I thought he was great. He always tried to explain concepts several times to ensure that the class understood him. For those who did not keep up on the readings and did not attend class though, they would have been lost and it would beimpossible to catch up.

ECON 341 is a great course, but with Charles Nunn, you will be in for a treat. First of all, it is his way, or the highway. Don't try to give your opinion. You should avoid this class unless you're willing to buffer your GPA. He is very old and cannot comprehend much anymore.

He Sucks. His tests are killer and you have to cover 9 chpaters on the first midterm and you have to know them well cuz he asks hard q's.Attending his lectures is useless b/c he doesnt reiterate what the god-awful text doesnt explain very well. No examples of how to calculate. took a W to get the hell away from him. Bad things will come if Stay.

Had him for both and enjoyed both classes. Maybe not the easiest for 100 level, but at a 300 level was pretty good. Hard exams though, with a wicked curve where 70's=B+

Great Professor. Genuinely concerned about teaching and the success of students. Willing to admit when he doesn't know the answer, but equally willing to put in the work to find out for you. Maybe not the best for 100-level, but excellent for 300-level. Accessible during and after class. Nice man

Nunn was kind of ho-hum.. He got the job done. I think if he didn't have a cool accent, I would have liked him less - In other words, boring class (not really his fault) and his exams are pretty damn tough. I didn't take Econ101, which, didn't really help. I got a 5 on the old 9 gpa scale -> ho-hum.

The only advice is GO TO CLASS. He'll teach everything in class and you won't need to read the textbook and maybe only review the powerpoint slides for exams. If you don't go to class then you're screwed. That simple.

Easily the worst prof I have had yet. Tried to attend most lectures but it seemed he was so confused that most of the time he didn't even know what was going on! His exams were basically built completely around his webct notes (not that those were ever posted on time!)

This is the WORST econ prof ever imaginable...lectures are boring, even for the material. The only reason I go to class is to try and scrap some sort of knowledge aimlessly wandering around in his mind and somehow apply it. Goodluck, you're gonna need i

Course was easy, basically if you read the WebCT notes carefully and understand the concepts there you don't need to come to his boring class. I came once every 2 weeks to class and got a B overall. Not too shabby. He replied to my emails though.
