Is this class easy? No. Is Dr. Murff awesome? Yes! She is the best professor I have ever had, hands down. She will help you with your projects and tests so that you UNDERSTAND the material. There's no way you can't get an A if you go to her office hours and get help. Very friendly, helpful, approachable professor. Loved having her!

Do not take this class online. I tried to and the tests didn't correlate with the text book AT ALL, so I dropped it as it was virtually impossible to get a decent grade. Then I took DSCI 245-346 IN CLASS and it was cake (4.0). The key is that she uses the same tests, which are based on her lecture, for her online class.

Dr. Murff is so awesome!! She is the best statistic teacher in Eastern! The material is hard but she makes it very understandable. Attend class, and LISTEN! Her lectures cover everything you need to know. Also attend Lab sections because she actually HELPS students on the projects! Tests are not quite hard if you understand the material! Take Murff

Best Professor, if you have a brain and know how to use it you can do this. Dreaded taking this class, had been 27 yrs since last my University life and a Stats class. Made a 4.0, by being in class, participating and doing the work!!! Sit in the first 4 rows!!! This lady can teach and is accessible if you want to learn!

For the Projects make sure you go to her labs, she walks you step by step through them and gives you all the answers. I thought I did horrible in the class and ended up with a 3.5 There must have been a huge curve!
