Went out of his way to explain difficult literary theories, but maybe it was just this course. Handouts and e-reserve material were awesome but book was pretty pricey. Highly recommend him for serious students.

I loved his class. In his class you debate and write about controversial topics. Not only is the subject matter very interesting, but he is an EXCELLENT writing teacher. One caveat: his political viewpoints are quite liberal, so Republicans should construct their arguments very carefully

Dr.Snodgrass's rhetoric class was a fun class. I learned that although people will have numerous different views than you, it is CRUCIAL to listen to them even though you don't agree. Very discussion oriented class with several argumentative papers and a huge research paper. Highly recommended.

Snodgrass is pretty funny. He has a liberal outlook on things, so be careful if you're conservative. He is an MLA Nazi, but it helps so much. No effort required for a B. Awesome topics, sometimes no so awesome. Very helpful, and watch out for the CrazyEye
