I had no interest in biology or science prior to taking her intro. bio class, but she made science approachable. Yes, her interest is in plants, but she helped classmates get into medical school and PT school by giving them research experience. She'll help you no matter what your goals are, but she expects hard work in return.

What a great teacher. Sometimes the lectures are hard to follow, but she is excellent at connecting to her students and helping them see the bigger picture. Also, she likes to help students do independent research projects - a big, big plus.
