Comment:
My main issue with Bamford was his lectures. They are fine but tend to be slightly boring, dry, and slow. He's a decent professor but I ended up with the feeling that his lectures and the class periods were not very helpful at all. There's very little work to do in the class, so it's fairly easy.

Great teacher and very easy class. You don't really have to show up to class, he just lectures whats in the textbook. Test are a little tough if you don't study, but he gives you a list of words to study off of and also there's launch pad to study off of as well. No HOMEWORK! Just discussion topics every week. He also grades on a curve.

This is the easiest class that I have taken so far here at ACC. He may be a little boring to listen to at times but he has the funniest jokes. Super chill teacher. No papers. Tests are super easy, just study the list of words he gives you and you'll do fine, also we have discussions due each week that are really easy to answer.

Bamford is cut and dry. You don't necessarily have to show up to pass, but he does a great job of lecturing and can be funny. I really appreciated the fact that we did not have homework and he made the tests quite easy in that we go over exactly what is expected on the test. Highly recommend!!

He can be dry at times but is very good at informing the concepts he is teaching. If you show up and listen, you will learn a lot about psychology. Tests are almost all multiple choice and he reviews every test with the class. I would definitely take another one of his classes.

His course is pretty easy to pass as long as you participate. Not much homework besides discussions, watching a video each week except for weeks that there are exams. He gives you plenty of time to study and is generous with study materials, there is no way to fail if you just participate.

Be prepared to watch a LOT of documentaries. We only had five exams one of which was a cumulative final. You're tested on information from the book that isn't covered in class. Google will be your best friend.

I took Dr. Bamford's online PSY 101 class. WORST DECISION EVER. There could have been no professor in this class and it wouldnt have been any different. Dr. Bamford had us do discussions every week but he never participated. We had to read chapters and take 4 tests throughout the semester and he never taught anything.

He has discussions for each week like usual online classes, and four exams. There is not much things to do in his online courses. So I think this class is fine to take. You can find a lot answers from the Internet, so read your notes and do some research, then you will be fine.

Professor Bamford was one of the best professors I have had. His lectures were interesting and clear. There was no homework, just tests. If you are good at memorization you will do well in this class. He made it very clear what would be on the exams. He is extremely smart and funny.

Professor Bamford is beyond qualified for this position; he is easily the foremost authority on the subject @ this school. Most other PSY teachers are less-qualified and malign the material in an already questionable field. Bamford deals in raw facts and science - NOT theory. Any serious student would enjoy his courses. HIGHLY recommended.

Professor Bamford has very interesting lectures unlike some profs I've had in the past who were just reading off from their PowerPoints. Exam questions are taken directly from lectures so show up and take diligent notes, you'll do well. Drops lowest test grade!

Great Prof! The Ideal teacher. Know your notes and you're good. No speeches (speeches are just a way for profs to slack off, I payed to learn from the prof, not other kids). Highly recommend!

easy class, if you take notes then you don't need to read the book because that's mostly all he covers in class/on tests. I chose not to go to class after the 1st test, except for the day before the test (study guide) the day of (take the test) and day after (get grade). I just knew the study guide and I got an easy A. Drops worst out of 4 tests.
