Had him for intro bio, human physiology, and intro neuroscience lab. After having him for a few classes I had to get him as an advisor. He genuinely cares for his students and wants you to succeed. He'll regularly check up with you to make sure how you're doing and has an awesome sense of humor.

I've had Dr. B for multiple classes now Bio 105 and Bio 221. He's hands down my favorite prof. Hilarious lectures which always keep my attention. He's always willing to meet for help, too!

I absolutely loved this class! Dr. Barney covers a lot of material in class and expects you to know not just how one thing works, but everything related to it as well. It was definitely one of my favorite classes of all time.

Dr. Barney is the best prof ever! He is an amazing prof who is so passionate about what he teaches. He is extremely funny and knows how to make sure you don't fall asleep. His teaching makes you want to learn more about the subject and delve deeper into the Biology world. He is totally approachable and cares a lot about his students.
