This guy sucks. At least his online class does. Really long and useless PowerPoints are the only effort he puts into the class. They are mostly pictures and have barely enough info to give you an idea on what to answer on the test. Gives horrible feedback. He seems to treat his students like a chore.

Worst professor on the planet. I have attend Oklahoma State University and he was by far the hardest teacher I have ever had. he does NOT supply you with the information needed to get an A in the class. does not work with his students what so ever. I would not recommend him to anyone. Sucky professor. Be ready for a bad grade.

Literally worst professor I have ever had. The tests are insanely hard and he does supply you with the information to do well in the class. I'm in med school and he was by far the worst professor I have ever taken. Hands down hardest gen ed out there. I would advise you not to take him at all cost.

the online course was difficult. I felt his tests were very difficult and did not always contain material that was even in the text book. The only thing that saved me was the hw assignments. DONT send anything in rich text, even accidentally. he took 20% off of my hw because I accidentally sent it in this way (he did not specify in his syllabus)

Dr. Milbauer is very tough. When I first started the class, I though oh man there is no way I am going to be able to pass this class. You truly do have to pay attention and STUDY to pass his class. I came out with a 104% (extra credit) in his class.

Take advantage of his extra credit. He drops lowest test grade. The tests are tough, but you can use the Power Points during them. Overall easy class, only the tests are a bit tough.

I took Geography online with Milbauer. This guy is by far the most horrible teacher I have ever had in my entire life. His tests are ridiculus, he provides useless powerpoints and only a few questions from the test can actually be found in those powerpoints. The book is not helpful either. Many of the questions have more than one right answer. He does not help or give any feedback whatsoever. You are lucky if he even replies to his emails. Even if you are ver familiar with the subject, the tests are impossible.

This was hands down the WORST class I have ever had in my life! He gives ambiguous answers to specific questions, gives hundreds of PowerPoint slides that only have about 12 of the information you need to take his tests. Then once you think you have it down with the PP slides, he expects you to interpret what the answers are. DON'T TAKE HIM

The power-points are 600+ slides. The tests are over things that were never discussed in the power-points. Some test over 60 questions and less than 60 minutes to complete it. One of the most difficult gen-ed classes I have EVER taken. He was rude when asked for help or clarity, and emailed me very rude remarks. Try to avoid at all costs.

Non-verbal except for the occasional email that leaves you asking more ??. 600+ slide PPs no audio. Statements in the PPs differ from those on tests, to extent that leaves you unclear as to correct answer. Only (yes! ONLY) gives tests on the weekends and if you work all weekend so you can go to class M-F, he will NOT work with you! AVOID! AVOID!

I took his online geography class... Big Mistake! Far as i can tell nobody in my class was passing... At least half of the stuff on the tests was not in the power points( only source of notes since " don't need the book". This is the only class i have ever taken where i got so frustrated that i about cried( this is saying a lot for me). Avoid!

Be prepared to work. Note taking skills are crucial. Tests are straight from PowerPoints and verbal information. If you cannot easily memorize information, do NOT take this class. TIPS: Don't buy the book. Sit in front. Write everything down. Stay off your cell phone.

Historical Geography class. He is really easy, just copy power point notes and try to stay awake. He does however surprise you with an occasional dry humor joke that might make you chuckle, beware of getting on his bad side. side note: I think he is retiring soon.

Dr. Milbauer is not a very outgoing or exciting professor, but he is well learned in his field. I am a geography minor, and have never received anything except an "A". Text book not needed...just good note taking skills...and lots of caffine.

Worthless! Ive walked out on lectures because I have no idea what hes talking about. I carry a 3.0 and am by no means stupid. He makes up these acronyms that most of all he only knows. While the grading scale is easy, its hard to pass when you don't understand what he is talking about. He doesn't help! Take someone else!

Must attend class. Lots of notes, M/C tests, 1 10 p. research paper. Classes are straight lecture w/ PPs, can be boring/monotone, but knows his stuff and doesn't waste time w/ busy work. Never had to read textbook b/c he tests right off of notes. Good teacher, interesting subject matter. If you like history, you'll really like this class.

Easy tests! Do not need the book, lectures are plenty. He is a human: I had an exceptional situation, where I could not come to the last month of classes and I feared I would fail his class, but he was very cooperative and did his best to help me. He is helpful if you have a good cause!

Luckily I have a labtop that I took to class to copy down allllll of the notes. The test are straight from the notes, it took a lot of studying to do. I reccomend the summer course, it's over in 4 weeks. Don't bother buying a book.
