nice guy, but if youre not good at math dont take him, he rushes through the material and if you ask him for help he'll say a word or two and wont stay with you to help you out and he'll move on, the examples he uses are all science based which is completely unrelatable, dont take him unless youre good at math or dont need tutoring

he's ok, rushes through the material. Its best to take Math 120 (general course) w/Medin. Math 120 involves similar material: derivatives, funtions, etc. The class isn't hard: take notes, study, do the hw and you will do good. Some tutors in the Math Center can help students.

Very good Prof. He's class is not easy, but it feels easy because he really makes you want to do well with the clarity of his lectures and hiss style of collecting homework, quizing on it, and then testing on the material. He obviously cares alot about teaching. The key to doing well in his class is to come to class, and do the homework.

i think that he is one of the best math teachers i have ever had. he is really easy going and does a lot of examples, so when you go to do your homework you really understand it. I took him over the summer and even though we had a lot of material to go over in just 5 weeks i never felt like he was rushing. take him if you want to learn calculus!

He's a good teacher, but i suck at math so I had a hard time paying attention of course. He tries to make the material easy to understand though. There's a lot of homework and you need to do that to do well. The quizzes and tests are pretty simple...he grades pretty easy...even i passed.

Great teacher! He knows what his doing! Not just good at Math, BUT GOOD AT TEACHING IT! Nice guy, he has his rules but over all very flexible. No homework, just pay attention, take notes, and PASS THE TESTS. I definately recommend him.

Excellent teacher and very fair grader! He drops the lowest quiz grade and lowest Exam so you can pull a high grade as long as you study. He doesn't check attendance so you don't even need to show up, only for tests!!!

So I suck at math and I was nervous to take calculus since I needed to pass no matter what (transfer). Mr Navo is the BEST math teacher ever. He teaches very well, and anyone who tries can actually pass. He helped me out a lot and I passed! Take him hes so good.

I've always hated math, and he help me overcome that fear. He explains the work step by step, but still makes the class very fun. If you take the notes form the board and review them before a test, you will get a good grade. I got C eventhough I only went half of the class. He is the BEST TEACHER.

Best CALC teacher ever! (took his class during summer) 4 tests, drops the lowest score, you can use 1 page of notes. He's very clear w/ the material; doesn't hurt that he's a hottie either :)
