Mostly an easy class, but time consuming. He makes you submit outlines before you can send in your first draft and makes you send in your first draft before you can send in your final draft. That's completely fine, expect for the fact that he doesn't grade them until after the due dates. Takes forever to respond to emails. He clearly doesn't care.

This teacher is probably one of the worst I've ever had in my college career. English is one of my strong subjects, but he was a tough grader. Not only that he was not very friendly and wouldn't help a student out. Tried to contact him in regards to a paper and he wouldn't get back to me. He also works at EKU, I would recommend avoiding him.

He is a very easy grader, with some things. With things he seems to take interest in he is rude and not very clear what he wants. Again, rude. However, it over all is an easy class, easy reads, not too long of papers. Also, question what he wants. In his directions he is very confusing. Did I mention rude?

He is one of the worst teachers ever. He is very harsh on grading and in fact on one of my papers that I turned in on time, and it met all the requirements he gave me a ZERO. He is very rude and mean and i wouldnt recommend this teacher to ANYONE.

He doesn't really explain what he wants on a paper. He was the worst teacher I've had at BCTC. He's rude. He has no idea what how to teach someone to write a paper in a way he would like. All around my experience with him was horrible.

doesnt give you much help on the papers and really doesnt explain what he wants in them, but he grades very easy so its not that big of a deal. im not the best at english and i got a B in the class. the class is a very annoying class though, there is alot of ork to be done.

Although I passed this class with a B and I suck at English, he is a terrible boring teacher. He laughs at himself the whole class and does not go out of his way to help you. His assignments are weird and confusing and attendance is mandatory as he passes a notebook for everyone to sign each class. There is a lot of writing and pop quizzes.

Pretty cool and laid back teacher. Just make sure you read the book the night before because he can surprise you with pop quiz's. Other than that, I recommend him. Always got let out of class way early! I ended up making a B in the class (if it weren't for the quiz's that I was unprepared for)....All in all, I liked him!
