Cicero knows his stuff. He is old school and gives lots of handouts. He is hilarious, if you have any kind of a sense of humor his dry wit will help you enjoy the lectures. He makes statistics fun and you will succeed if you pay attention. No graded homework, just a ton of handouts you can use for practice. Grades based on 5 open note exams.

Comment:

Very easy class, just make sure to put in some effort to the assignments so you can receive full credit. I really like how there is no quizzes, tests, projects, or final. We literally just do the same thing every week but for different topics. You can easily get everything done in one day if you really wanted to.

Took his course online and it was a great business class, I learned a lot. Our weekly assignments all had clear deadlines to meet. Seems like a lot of work at first, but it really isn't. Just do the assignments and you should pass. Make sure you put detail and effort into your answers, that's what gets you full points.

Comment:

The man, the myth, the legend. Cicero is one of the best teachers you could take at Highline. He's very fair and is clear about the grading and test policy from the first day. His lectures are entertaining, and he knows his stuff. Work hard--he'll work to help you out. Not a lot of homework for this class, based on 5 tests and extra credit.

I can't remember a time where Cicero had a boring lecture. Every time he would make us laugh and he also knew what he was talking about during his lectures. Although it may be a lot of homework, its not really hard but just time consuming.

Doesn't interact with students, since it is an online class, but he is very organized and follows a routine, which is good. He gives a discussion board, two textbook assignments, and two lecture topics every week. One of the easiest classes ever. If you just do the work, you'll get a 4.0.

About 5 online assignments per week. Grading criteria is pretty clear. He likes you to go into detail on assignments, which sometimes means you have to extend a simple answer for a simple question. He's clear in grading criteria and if you read the textbook you'll do fine. There are no tests.

His class is easy to pass as long as you do your work and do it on time. He gives quite a few assignments, but they're all pretty easy. Also, no tests! I would definitely recommend his online class, since I haven't taken him in person. I wouldn't take his class if you don't have time to read or do multiple assignments though.

*Communication - Expect short responses. *Load of work - 5 Assignments a week. (Perfect for those who aren't WORKING) If you are working, you need to prioritize yourself to getting 2-3 assignments done in a day to be ahead, giving yourself the weekend to rest your brain. (Thats what I did) *His assignments are listed and very organized.

He doesn't even lecture and doesn't even help much on hw. The hw assignments doesn't even make sense. He kicks you out of class if you don't finish an assignment. There are no tests which is great. The worst part is that he I had only two classes in the winter quarter and he gave more assignments than my other class.

This is not an easy class, so you are going to work hard. I came everyday in class, took notes, did the handouts but didn't pressed for every chapter and got a 3.0. And there are only going to be 5 tests during the hole quarter worth 42 point and the final is 55 points. He will only give 5 points extra credit

Cicero is the best teacher. He is super funny and loves teaching. You can learn a lot form him adn he does a good job teaching the material while making class fun. I would definitely reccomend his class. Only negative aspect i have is his Key Word Outlines, they are kind tedious. But I wouldnt take a BUSN class with any other teacher but Cicero.

For some reason, Cicero is my favorite professor I've had at Highline. He has a different sense of humor, it's like he doesn't try to be funny but it works :) I got an easy 4.0, but had to read through the textbook chapters and wrote notes on my own. Tests are all open book and open note, and make sure you do all the handouts. They help a lot!

He's a good teacher and learned a lot in his class. There are no tests which is kind of nice. He's a goofy guy and makes class fun. He talks about stuff that interest students. Definitely recommend taking his earned a good grade. The online homework isn't to bad since it's a hybrid class kind of a hard grader.

Very helpful , even it is open book and open notes but the exams are not easy. His trueFalse questions are really confusing. You feel that you will pass his class with flying colors then you will make a mistake. Don't miss his class but if you do, he will help you and provide you the information again which he very helpful on this matter.
