Professor Roethlein is a nice guy who wants people to do well. If you are looking for an easy A look elsewhere. If you are looking to learn and come out of it with more knowledge then when you went in, you should take him. He is a nice guy and the production game is a good time if you have a good group. Do what he wants and you will be fine.

A must-take professor. Funny, hard-working guy that really does a great job of teaching in different ways. Highly recommend. Production game is fun and cases help reinforce the math portions of what we learn. Perfect system. Clear expectations and grading criteria. "Thank you Chris!"

By far one of the best professors I've ever taken. I took him for my capstone class and he's helped my group on what we needed to do and was able to effectively do our capstone project in a few weeks.

Great Professor. Cares about students and really wants you to do well on the tests. Production game is fun and helps reinforce what you learn from the book. Stresses the take-home points and what we will all actually use in our careers. Keeps class interesting and is HILARIOUS. Just wait for story time...classic.

Full of himself, will make an example out of you at the slightest mistake or whenever you try to do something new, the Production Game is annoying and has you doing work you'd never do as a manager. Treats you like a child should you show him any form of weakness. Avoid if you can.

Chris Roethlein is one of the best professors I have ever had. Ops management itself is a fairly simple subject at this level, but he takes this class way beyond the subject. He gives solid advice on business and on life. He is an awesome professor and friend, and made a lasting impact on me as a human being. Try your best to get him if you can.

Great teacher and very willing to help. He brings real life experience to relate to the material in class. Two big projects which take up a lot of time and he expects students to give their all. This means do the reading, homework, participate and have good attendance. Over all good teacher. You will learn in his class and retain the info.

Great teacher. Enthusiastic about subject. Test was pretty hard, but other projects make up majority of grade. Group work was interesting. If you put in a reasonable amount of effort, you can get an A. He cares about students and is willing to help, but he's no pushover. Talks a lot about his previous work, but it helps to clarify the material.
