Christine is literally one of the best teachers I have ever had. If you ever have a chance to take this class, DO IT. She is such an easy professor and is so nice and caring. There are about five projects that you are graded on, but that's it and they're relatively easy. She really helped me find myself spiritually and is such a sweetie!

She may seem crazy and unorganized, but she is so passionate about what she teaches! She cares about every student and you'll most like get an A as long as you show her you're interested. She was complained about in the beginning of the semester and you could tell her feelings were really hurt because she loves what she does and her students

The most unprofessional professor I've ever had. Cancels class a lot. It's a shame because I was genuinely interested but the class was a joke. She is way too personal and inappropriate. If you want an easy A take her.

so so so glad i decided to take her! she doesn't take anything too seriously and likes to have fun with the class. she can seem a little scattered sometimes but i think it just adds to her. she really wants you to do well and is really encouraging. definitely a great connection to have if you want to work in film too. not enough to say about her!

amazing educator, even better human. take her classes if you actually want to learn something. if you're lazy, you won't get anything out of it. you will leave the class smarter in many ways than when you entered.

She's great, no doubt. She just complicates things the way she exhibits her teaching style, she gives this idea that her classes are lax but get can get curt at times if people don't show up or don't take her class seriously. I don't get it. Overall, she's very friendly and I consider her a friend. Just be nice to her, she deserves respect.

Okay so here's the deal, she's really "cool, awesome, and everyone loves her" but in reality this class is a joke. Yes she's passionate about the subject, but out of 63 students only 32 would show up. She graded everyone at the same level, completely unfair. She's overrated and I would never take her unorganized class again.

By far the most I have ever learned in a comm course. Prof. Farina isn't easy, but she makes learning the material interesting. There are many assignments, group projects and class participation is a MUST. If you don't like to talk or participate in lectures, do not take this course. She is strict but makes herself available for any help needed.

People rave about this class, but I think they only like it because it's easy. Farina was knowledgeable about the topic and tried to do a lot with the class, but people wouldn't participate. Students in class were rude often talking through the entire lecture and having their own conversations. Made for an awkward semester.

Farina is in no way the best professor but she's amazing and pretty much the reason that I'm a Comm. Major. She makes class so interesting and while she isn't the greatest at conveying what she's saying, you can tell she knows what she's talking about.

Is she good? Yes. I think she's a bit overrated. VERY unclear with what she wants. She switched her modus a couple times during the class and I could see people were disinterested/not attending classes. I couldn't say I really learned anything from her, but it was quite an experience! She joked around and made class fun but didnt learn anything lol

Amazing. Does have a bit of a reputation of being an easy professor, but if you show up, pay attention, and keep an open mind, you'll learn a lot. She wants her students to think and question everything, not do the minimum in order to get a good grade. If you show that you've learned something through papers and/or projects, she's happy.

This professor has changed my life. Granted her teaching style is different, but she cares so much about her students. Show up, put in some effort, and keep an open mind. If you listen closely, you'll find yourself learning without realizing it. She is the 'Miss Frizzel' of RSC and the best professor I've ever been lucky enough to encounter.

My favorite professor! It's an easy class because it is so interesting. I love going to class. I feel she has a unique teaching method in that you never really feel like you're learning but you gain so much knowledge. She is a little quirky but that's what makes her fun! Can be easily reached on cell. l I HIGHLY recommend her!
