He is not good at explaining things. Refers you back to the syllabus all the time when you have a question but the syllabus never has any information on it at all. He is ridiculous and likes to change everything too and is just very confusing on a lot of things.

Dr. Orchard is among the finest professors in the English Dept. He has a true passion for the content covered in his classes and this, combined with his wit and humor, make for some excellent classes that fly by. If you have the opportunity to take Dr. Orchard, I'd definitely recommend him.

Orchard was one of my favorite professors. Love his teaching style and warm personality. Would definitely take him again and encourage anyone to take him! He is amazing, witty and brilliant. Really cares about his students success.

He is so amazing. Best professor ever. Hilarious. Very, very intelligent and interested in his topics. Open to suggestions. Willing to allow the conversation to take on a form of its own. And okay...let's not forget that wonderful accent. If you get distracted by hot professors, I wouldn't take him. That's the only stipulation! ;)

Dr. Orchard's class was awesome. He combines current events with writing, so the stuff you read pertains to recent events. I genuinely enjoyed his class, and I would recommend him to anybody. There are quizzes every week that are simply Word documents that you turn in, prompts, and group discussions. Very easy class and very interesting.

OMG! Dr. Orchard is such a great professor! I learned about 9/11, racial profiling, and we read a book called Surveillance. I loved this class. Took it online. Very helpful. No book was required except Surveillance which was 10 bucks on Kindle for PC. Everything was interesting probably better in class! Great guy take him!

Highly recommended! The topics are interesting, he's really funny, and there isn't too much work, just answering a few questions and a 10 page paper at the end, which was a lot easier than I expected because if you go to class and do the work when it's assigned the paper seems pretty easy.
