He barely gives partial credit on stat exams which are extremely difficult. What he says goes and he doesn't ever admit to being wrong. He's so uninterested in the course it is unbearable to sit through. He wrote the text book, so he is inevitably arrogent and moves too quickly. He has no respect for students learning paces. Do not take his course.

Dr. Hinderliter's teaching method differs compared to others. How well you do depends a great part on whose teaching method you "click with." The subject is difficult. Dr. Hinderliter is willing to help, although he does come off as intimidating, to me and my other classmates. Best advice: read, go to class, DO THE LABS! They will save you!

Terrible, he speaks in another language! Dont get lost at the beginning or your really screwed. Read read and reread the book that he wrote, its confusing. He moves way to fast. If he misses a class you must still know the material he was planning on covering! This class will consume your life!

This class would be easy if Dr. Hinderlighter actually taught in class. I went to every class and there was absolutely no reason for me to. You MUST read the book. Read the book twice, and take your own notes. There are online quizze take those and study a lot. You must work a lot for this class to even receive a C. This is a very hard intro class

He is very difficult. Read the book. Study A LOT. Exams are long, the final is ridiculous. Make sure you know your info. I recommend taking chem before this class, just to give some clarity to some topics. Overall an interesting class though, he's a good person. Let me make up an exam that I couldn't take because of personal reasons. Go to class.

Dr. Hinderlighter is a useless professor. He laughs at you when you answer a question incorrectly in class in front of everyone. Yes, he knows the material(he wrote the book) but he's awful at teaching. If you want to pay to get embarrassed by a middle aged man who sweats perfusely, take his class!

Great instructor. He gets a bad rap due to the stats class he used to teach; however, in Psychology of Learning he is very very good! Follow the text book, do not miss class, and do the homework and you should do very well. Dr. Hinderliter is very helpful. All you need to do is ask. I really enjoy the class.

Great professor. Very nice. Great class. No attendance policy, but you have to sign an attendance sheet every day. Homework includes defining terms from the book. No papers. You have to study and go to class. Uses power point for notes. Class isn't hard if you study.

Terrible teacher...wrote the book...therefore if you don't understand something and ask him to clarify it u get the book definition...over and over again...if you don't understand the book definition in the book, you're not going to undertand it when he repeats it...and he just doesn't understand that

Dr. Hinderliter is a great professor. I highly recommend him but only if you're willing to actually do the work. He really knows the material and clearly explains it. He was very helpful when I had questions. It is technical material, so read the book before going to class. Keep up with the work and you'll be fine.

Dr. Hinderliter is a great professor. His classes helped me a lot. They require work, but that's as it should be if students are going to learn. He is a nice guy, too. If you take the time to do the work, you'll see what an excellent professor he is. Unfortunately, some kids were too lazy and/or immature to realize that.

Very nice teacher. I learned a lot from his class. He knew what he was talking about. I got an A, but had to put in a lot of work. I may have found it easy b/c I took stats in high school. Great guy. I'd recommend him to anyone. Would love to have him for another class.
