I had Cindy for Probation and Parole and learned more in that quarter than I in the entire year from other professors. She doesn't teach the class traditionally but brings in real life experience. I think people in her department are intimidated by her background and knowledge. Also because so many students like her. KEEP MRS. GUNDER!

Mrs. Gunder needs our help! If you haven't heard she has been terminated & will not be teching after this quarter. There are people in the SOC dept.that are jealous of her & have gone to the Dean to get rid of her. Call the school's ombudsman, the newspaper,or the President of SCC or participate in the planned protest. We can't afford to loose her

She's a funny and interesting lady, but I feel like we paid a lot of money for a textbook we only used once. She rarely kept on topic with the class. I felt like I didn't learn much at all. Plus she canceled class all the time with no notice (not good for those of us who live far away) and never replies to E-mails.

Her class was very easy, she gives study guides before each test and gives you a BUNCH of chances for extra credit. She doesn't take attendance and class can be boring when she gets on long stories, especially about her divorce.

Ms. Gunder was very funny and has a great since of humor. I loved her class so much that I brought my friend to sit in on one of her lectures. Oh she has wonderful stories. Ask her about the petro-chemist guy that she is dating or has dated, which her son will say, " He makes more money than God!"

Prof. Gunder has certainly perfected moderating classroom debate. Her classes are interesting and challenging. The class discussion format she uses makes learning enjoyable. Lots of group and collaborative work yet graded individully and fairly. Very helpful and enjoys what she does.
