Dr. Bolfing is not an easy professor. She loves what she does but it is difficult. The exams are hard but they are multiple choice. I learned stuff in the class, but it was not a really enjoyable one. Also the early class 9:30 is hard! It is too early to learn the material.

I'm a marketing major and all I can say is thank goodness I had an internship this summer that confirmed my passion for marketing, because this class was a discouragement. She is incredibly nice and willing to help, at least immediately after class, but I learned way more from the text than her class.

Dr. Bolfing was helpful during the business plan process, but clearly didn't mention parts of the plan she thought we should edit and then deducted for them at the end of the semester. None of her lecture content corresponds with the text. Very Difficult tests.

she makes this class harder than it really was. i liked the subject matter and understood it really well, but her tests were extremely difficult and unfair compared to what we learned and practiced in class/hmwk..class is boring but overall not too bad of a class.

I absolutely adore Bolfing! She has a great personality and she is really helpful during office hours...her lectures are boring and she talks entirely too much during class..the tests werent too bad just read the powerpoints and study the notes in the back of the book

Bolfing make me NOT want to be a marketing major. Not a very good teacher. Rambles on and on about one subject and then gives you tests that have millions of topics that she expects you to know. Doesnt give you the correct answers to the online quizes. McMillen is better. Called me "obsessive" because I asked questions...

I didn't think Bolfing was as bad as people made her out to be. No question marketing should be much easier than she made it and the quizzes and tests were harder than they should have been. She was very helpful with the business plan, though. Don't get on her bad side and read every chapter/do online questions before every exam, you'll be fine.

Her lectures are completely useless; she says that you should follow what she says, and then skim over the book, but DON'T LISTEN TO HER. Just read the chapters for the tests and you'll be fine. Her quizzes are unnecessarily hard, her lectures are boring and useless and FLOWCHART FLOWCHART TALBOTS TALBOTS FLOWCHART.

Oh Claire. Sum it up really short, horrible horrible professor. Marketing is such an easy subject in 300, she made it probably the hardest class in 300( over Ops and Finance) However i did learn that she likes the Cardinals, color Red, and some department store, and I became a wiz at Sudoku.

She's really nice and very helpful to students, BUT her tests are extremely ambiguous. On one of her quizzes, I took an answer straight from the book and it was WRONG. Confusing and doesn't lecture well at all. Read the book.

Extremely boring unless you enjoy flowcharts and explanations of those flowcharts for 15 minutes each. Very nice and funny lady, but makes no sense and quizzes/tests are ridonculous. How she was the one with the PhD, I dont know.

At first I really liked her, no doubt she is a nice person. But i just got tired of hearing her. And no the subject matter is NOT interesting,Quizzes suck, average typically a 70, she is pretty bad at justifying answers. She actually showed us a blog entry one day in class to justify a point she was making, at that point she lost all credibility.

Haha, okay, she is not THAT bad. She is extremely nice and the subject matter is interesting. Yes, she does ramble on sometimes, but she is not as bad as everyone makes her out to be! Quizzes aren't too bad (open-notebook) and Tests are straight-forward as well. I enjoyed her class and would take another one with her again.

TERRIBLE PROFESSOR!! I think that she is an awful addition to COB300. She has no idea what she is talking about half the time. Any teacher that uses the text book powerpoints is lazy. Her homework is hard. She does not post assignments on blackboard on time and gets off subject too often.
