Here is the thing with her. She is a business lady but she DOES know calc. GIVES AWAY ANSWERS SO EASY, during tests GO ASK FOR HELP, b/c she will literally walk you thru it, she is a very nice lady and seriously WILL help you, these ratings.. i DO NOT agree with. Trust me, just PAY attention, LIKE U WOULD in ANY other CLASS. no big deal.

If you care, she cares. She knows the material inside and out. She expects you to do the work and rightly so - this is a university course not a class at a community college. You can even call her at home if you need help, all you have to do is ask. Excellent teacher, but you won't find her handing out any free rides!

She is AWFUL!!!! I took this class in High School and that is the only reason I passed. She can't explain anything at all. She doesn't do examples out on the board. She reads them out of the book and you are suppose to understand how to do them! DON'T TAKE THIS CLASS!!!!!

She was seriously the worst teacher I ever had. I couldn't understand a single thing she wrote on the board, and on top of that when I would ask for help she didn't give me much to work with. I tried very hard and did everything I could to pass but in the end, she was just a horrid teacher.

We are in college NOT high school. So the comments about "no help" or "she expected us to teach ourselves" This is the real world and if you can't work for your grade and be independent then God help you in the real world. ok just FYI, she does NOT work at McDonalds. She works at an advertising agency in Pekin called MCDANIELS, and she actually a co-owner in the company. she is VP of finance. so no, don't say that she works at McDonalds.

This class plain sucked. The night class sucks. You get out each night at like 9:30PM. Pop quizzes after about every class. Assigns about 150 homework problems each class, most are collected. Tests are the killer - No review for any tests. My advice - get a tutor. DO NOT BUY THE SOLUTIONS MANUAL! SHE ASSIGNS ALL EVEN PROBLEMS.

Drop this class. She works at McDonalds during the day, and comes in late to teach this class. I think half the class ran after the first day, I was stupid enough to stick around. You will not stop laughing when she walks in everyday, she spends like 5 minutes in complete silence getting ready.

I loved taking class with her. She makes you work for your grade, but if you do the homework and pay attention you will do fine. She has you do the homework before she teaches the stuff and uses the homework to teach the subject. she is very nice and helpful

Late for class, held class later because of that. Did not work out problems on board, left students trying to figure out problems for themselves. Tests/quizzes were handwritten. Her attitude was very poor towards students, rude at times. No breaks, her comment was "there is no curve in mathematics!" Avoid at all costs, not a good 'teacher'.

she comes in late, is a total b****, makes a million mistakes, spends all day going over homework, ends up not teaching anything. you could know calculus and she would make you feel stupid in class by the way she teaches, had an A in AP calc in high school (didn't take the AP test), an F in her's. go figure

She doesn't explain things well, and when you ask her a question she makes you feel like your stupid. She always shows up late for class and makes you stay later. She gives tons of pop quizes. Honestly...the class sucked. If I wouldn't have taken Calculus in high school, I would have been completely lost.

IF you know how to suck up and don't care about what other people think about it...do it. It's not as terrible as it COULD be if you go in thinking that she's going to rip you to shreds. You don't even have to DO all of the homework, just attempt it and come in prepared to explain as much as you can and she won't snap at you if you don't let her.

Worst teacher ever. She acts like we already took this crap and all she does is examples without explaining anything. you have to really pay attention and use the book to understand everything. She comes in late and keeps us late all the time. Her cell phone rang one time during a test and she actually went outside to answer it. what a (expletive).

Absolutely ridiculous. I can't believe she is teaching and we pay her to teach us. That is what she seems to forget. This is no way to teach calculus. No office hours? How does she get away with that? Take it only if you want to be treated like an 8th grader again. There are two words to describe her, and they are not nice words.
