Unclear lectures. You have to go to lecture to find out what is focusing on, but it won't help you understand those topics. Get ready to spend a lot of time on Youtube finding better lecturers

This is one of the worst classes I've taken. Lectures are trash. He's an easy grader, but only because almost everyone would fail if he wasn't. He teaches his material at a graduate school level when it's supposed to be introductory. He purposely does this to immerse us in higher level physics. It makes it very difficult to understand the material.

Professor giving the lecture with accent. Is going through the lecture nicely. Not problem with understanding. One problem is that prof favorites. Giving Quizzes helpful but make exam so difficult. Personally, I do not recommend this class to take, since student hard work does not meet balanced grade from prof side. Something wrong.

He wasnt that bad. I have to admit he does not grasp clearly the material at hand + well short on teaching ability. Be prepared to do a lot of work outside, you must band together with your fellow students if you are going to pass. I had tutors, class study groups and still only squeaked out a C.

He wants each and every one of his students to succeed (easiest A ever) and teaches at a higher level than most modern classes. His lecture notes are fantastic and I would take him again for them. But his lectures are worthless, disorganized, unclear, and have no clear motivation. He sets himself up perfectly and then constantly drops the ball.

Rebbi had no idea where the class was at and I'm assuming it was because every non-exam assignment was basically graded for participation. The math used in his lectures can get complex and you may have to ask the same question more than once for him to answer it. Super nice guy though, still brings cookies to his office hours

Rebbi is the nicest guy you'll ever meet, and can be very helpful in office hours. This being said, I learned the entirety of the course online and using the textbook. His lectures are painful and he has almost no concept of where his students are at.

Nicest person at BU. Worst teacher. REBBI DOES NOT TEACH GET READY TO TEACH YOURSELF MODERN PHYSICS. Easiest grader at BU tho. Got 90-100 on all labs and HW. Midterm II dragged me down tho. Had to take his class because there weren't any options. I put so much effort in this class yet still am not satisfied with what I "learned."

Rebbi is a wonderful person who truly cares about his students, but his teaching abilities aren't great. The curriculum after the first month is essentially graduate-level, and the tests are very difficult. He makes up for this by being very lenient with homework grades.

Rebbi is a great guy and truly knows his stuff, however, if you want to pass this class you will HAVE to read the textbook because his lectures are very confused and unclear. Despite this, he is an incredibly generous grader (extra credit) and a very caring professor. Probably not a hard class to pass, but you'll have to do a lot of outside work.

Pros: The easiest grader you can find, gives about 5 extra credit (overall score) if you put the effort, even if your answer is totally wrong he gives you about 40% of the points, even in the exam. Cons: He is teaching you Quantum 1 instead of Modern Physics, homework is difficult but his questions won't be on the exam, his notes are confusing.

Claudio is one of the nicest professors I have ever had. The class is most definitely difficult, however, if you pay attention and try your hardest then you will get a grade that you can be proud of. Don't get me wrong, this class is hard, but, it is extremely rewarding.

Everyone love Rebbi! He's a sweet old guy who is really passionate about the class. Although homework takes forever, it boosts your grade along with labs. He has a preset curve where a 73 is a B. He's a fair grader and the class is worth taking. Just be ready to memorize tons of derivations.

Rebbi is an incredibly intelligent and kind professor. You'll have a good time in his class and still be challenged. He's a really easy grader at first, but he gets a lot harder toward the end of the course, so prepare yourself.

What can I say? Prof. Rebbi is the man. He has high expectations, but at the same time he is a fair grader and his exams are very reasonable. Lecture can sometimes be a little hard to follow, but is interesting nonetheless. He is incredibly helpful in office hours. Perhaps the nicest man I have ever met. His presence will warm your heart.

rebbi is so nice. he's incredibly flexible with office hours and very willing to help you out in any way he can. weekly HW assignments, boring but easy labs. TAs are very lenient graders & helpful. lectures consist of rebbi explaining the derivations of formula which can get a bit drab but you don't have to do anything near that complex for tests.

Rebbi is a very very kind man. He gives you cookies if you go to his office hours, and you'll probably have to since his lectures are pretty complicated. The TF's were great graders, and the exams weren't too difficult if you followed along. Make sure you have a solid background in calculus.
