Honestly don't know how she is still employed. Has the worst reputation around school. So unclear of what she wants you to do. Tells you do one thing and then you get a bad grade because you did it wrong even though she told you to do it that way! Nice lady, but horrible teacher.

I have to say this is the worst class I have ever taken. When I started, everyone said to drop this class, and I thought I could do it. Honestly, it was so frustrating to go to class, it would ruin my whole day. She is scattered, and we had no idea what our grade was the entire semester. Do not take this class for the sake of yourself.

One of the worst professors I have ever had. If you have her. Drop her now. I am extremely disappointed I am paying her to teach. She does not teach-she does not help you. She never knows what is going on. I can't believe she has her Dr. degree or that the education department hired her. Again-drop her right now if you have her.

Dr. Ulmer is very scatterbrained and forgets what she assigns you to do. However, she is a very nice lady and I think people use that against her to be a push over. She is kindve crazy and her class is so boring. I didnt really learn that much. I just read a lot of books and made lots of bookmarks.

Dr. Ulmer is quite possibly the worst professor I've ever had. She is extremely unorganized, and contradicts herself all the time. She changes important details of projects and assignments at the last minute without telling the class, so stay on your toes I guess. I didn't learn a single thing in this class. If possible, drop it asap!!

So, I read the comments on here, and thought, yeah she sounds like crap but I think I can handle it. No. Get out now. She grades you based on her skewed version of reality and expects you to keep up every time she changes what she wants (which she tells you after youve turned in the assignment) pretty sure she got her doctorate online. RUN. AWAY.

I took this class on a scholarship, thank GOD. DO NOT PAY FOR HER USELESS CLASS. It'd be cheaper to just hire a rock; it has the same amount of intelligence & sense in it

stay. away. from. this. woman's. class. seriously, i brought my laptop one day and watched 3 episodes of the office on netflix. she is too absent-minded to be teaching, and is rude and slanderous without even meaning to be. she needs to retire. shes been reported several times but never let go. worst professor i've ever had. she is impossible to communicate with and everything is always your fault even when she lost the work you did. horribly unfair grading. she basically just gives you whatever she feels like. we didn't even get to fill out a proper evaluation for her, which i'm assuming is the only reason she is still teaching.

I took world lit for children with dr. ulmer, she is awful and I'm going to disagree with what others are saying about an easy A.
