Obviously the people that rated her poorly had no interest going into the class. I transferred to Umass, and still to this day I consider her the best professor I have ever had. I was a geology major there, and she was very helpful if you just gave her time to help you. Don't pay attention to the negative comments, they don't represent her at all.

I feel these reports were very unfair. She was hard, but expected us as students to do our part by read, study, and participate. Like the other report, if you can't at least do those then i guess that is why we are all here at SSC. She did offer help and did love her field. She was a good professor.

People **** about her, but she just expects the students to care, but unfortunately she is teaching at SSC, so as soon as a professor has regular college level expectations everybody thinks they're a****ty professor. She was passionate & if you don't respect that then I guess thats why we're all at SSC

this class is a joke! anyone else in the geology department is wonderful but this one teacher makes learing uneasy and she is never willing to help a student. she answers your question with another question and never goes back.if you take her you are going to need prozac and psychatric help!

Horrible. I feel so lost and behind. She moves at such a rapid pace that it's hard to keep up. She acts like we all know so much about geology before hand as if we're on the same geological level as her. No one is. This class was a terrible expirience. I'm not looking forward to retaking it. :(

Homework has nothing to do with what we do in class and has no relevance to the tests, her tests are sporadic in content in regard to lecture vs book material. Get's upset easily and is very disrespectful. And her name is Cricket. WTF?

This class was awful. Not only does Prof. Wilbur assign ridiculous amounts of work but she is rude. She will call you out in class, and has no patients with people who have questions or don't understand something. Its nearly impossible to do well in her class.

i loved this class. if i ever was confused about something and took the time to ask her when the class was finished she was always helpful. she's very passionate about her subject which makes taking this class so much better. It's hard, but worth it.
