Dr. DiLorenzo is a very admirable, no-nonsense woman. Out of any professor I've had at Bing, she is by far the most knowledgable in her field. Go to class, take notes, read the textbook, and study the terminology she tests you on hard, and there's no way you can't do well in this class.

DiLorenzo is very reputable and respected in the department, but this class is no joke. Her 3 tests are 100 fill in the blanks so you have to know the material inside and out. She doesn't post lectures, so go to class (also random attendance) and become best friends with the textbook. Worst part is if you do bad on one test your grade plummets.

This class was definitely challenging but super interesting. Di Lorenzo is a nice lady and will crack the occasional joke. She takes attendance randomly so it's a good idea to go to class to get as many points as you can. She gives 3 fill-in-the-blank exams, and it's definitely manageable to do well on them.

Dr. DiLorenzo is a great lecturer and offers extra credit for attendance at specific events. The lectures are very clear and the the textbook is very helpful. Although the tests are 100 fill in the blank, if you study the lecture and textbook material it is definitely doable. You have to work for your grade but the info is very interesting.

Did my best, and got B. Tests are tough. The type of test is filling the blank, and the number of questions is 100. Therefore, you should fill the 100 blanks with the neurological terminologies. Pretty tough, that is undeniable truth, but you are gonna learn a lot. Because of that tough test, I still memorize many things that I have learned.

I worked hard in this class but I'm still failing. Not through my own fault, but the way she structured the class. 3 tests all 100 fill in the blank. Most students get around a 78 or below a 59. The people who do well are usually the ones who are wired to memorize material, or have background knowledge going in. If that's not you, avoid her.

taking her class right now and I enjoy it. professor is receptive of questions and has a sense of humor. she doesn't post lectures. definitely go to class for attendance points, although you can do well by just reading the textbook. just 2 exams and 1 final so don't mess up. exams are fill in the blank basically one point per blank. 90 is an A !

Never have I ever studied a week in advance for an exam-- but you will need to put in work to get a good grade. The lectures are interesting and the professor is extremely knowledgeable. However, YOU NEED TO WORK FOR YOUR GRADE. I don't know how else to put it. Exams are tough, but not impossible. Good luck!

DiLorenzo is a very tough professor in terms of her grading policy. That being said, she is very helpful and her lectures are very well planned and executed. You will learn a lot in this class, and you will have to earn your grade.

Amazing class, amazing professor. Dr. Di Lorenzo is an expert in the field, and a very clear lecturer. Also, she's a very down-to-earth, kind person. I took this class along with orgo 1 in the same semester and did about the same amount of work for each one, but if you put in the time, it's a very rewarding class. My favorite class so far at BU.

Tests are fail in the blank 100 questions. The fill in the blanks come from both lecture and the book. I hated the class.

Great class. The tests are fill in the blank but it was much easier than I expected. You have to read the textbook, make outlines, and go to class to understand everything but the material is really interesting. It is very possible to do well if you put the effort in.

This is definitely a challenging class but it's not impossible. Go to class but more importantly read the textbook and take notes when you read. She takes all of her test material straight from the textbook. As long as you put the work in you'll do fine.

NOT that hard, if you read the book and go to class it is straightforward. The material can be confusing but if you put in the time to understand it you shouldnt have a problem. Theres a curve, so 90 is an A, 85 is A-. Dr. DiLorenzo is really nice, funny and interesting. Tests are fill in but are easier than many multiple choice exams Ive taken

Really difficult class, requires a great deal of memorization. Dr. D is a great professor but flies through the PP slides. Be careful, the tests are designed in a way that you must master the topic in order to do decently. This class isn't impossible, but almost impossible to get an A range grade. May the odds be ever in your favor

She's an awful teacher. Goes way too fast with the notes and doesn't post them. I just took screen shots with my phone. Nonetheless, I loved the class. Really interesting. Just memorize the textbook and go to the GRAD STUDENT TA office hours for help (They might drop hints about what you should study for the exam). I got an A. So easy!

I am currently enrolled in this class as well as Orgo I, and this class is definitely more challenging. You literally must put in hours each day in order to do well, I received an A- (87%) on the first exam and put in tons of work, Kudos to the ppl who got a 90+. That being said, she is extremely helpful and knowledgable. Highly recommended.

This is a relatively straightforward course, the tests are highly detailed but all of the information is easily accessible through the textbook and class notes. Attendance is helpful as the lectures are often clearer than the text. Requires a great deal of memorization but I found her and the course very interesting.

definitely a hard class. Take it if you're really interested in it.. if you have to take it make sure you put time into the class. Going to class helps a lot, and she takes random attendance which boosts your grade. Tests are fill in- sounds scary but take really good notes and read the bolded words in the text and you'll be fine

The class is not impossible although it is very difficult to get an A unless you have a strong science background. The professor pretty much takes all of her ppt's straight from the book so her class is pretty useless because all you need to do is memorize the textbook (not just read it) If you put in the work you can get a good grade.
