Despite what most of these ratings say, Dr. Dallas is an amazing professor! He's retired, but periodically teaches the Holocaust. His lectures are great and he's very helpful. Once, I barely managed to finish half of one of his exams. I didn't deserve above a 50, but he gave me a 75, saying what I did write showed that I clearly understood.

In my opinion, Dr. Dallas was a good teacher and I did learn a lot in his class. However, I could not get over how he seemed to not really care one way or the other about if his students really learned, and he kind of had a superiority complex going on. I took US history with Dr. Robinson after that; he was a lot more personable in my opinion.

I heard he is retiring, and he was a good teacher. But beware when taking Holocaust. It can get very disturbing. He was very strict and expected you to put everything he said in his tests, which were all essays.

I just got done taking His 101 with Dr. Dallas. He is a tough teacher, but he knows his material well. He is however a complete jerk with no respect for his students. He could care less how you do in his class unless you are a history major.

I took him ten years after my AP history teacher from high school had advised me not to (Even he couldn't get a good grade out of him). Way too hard for a general education course. If he wants you to respect the subject, he's going about it all wrong!!
