Comment:

One of the best profs I've had in my university career. OM 468 requires you to do an actual consulting project that gives you real skills that you will use when you are done school. This course is a lot of work, but Dan is there to help you along the way. His lectures teach you what you need to know, and skip the useless stuff.

Comment:

He is very lazy, doesn't prepare much in advance and appears very disorganized to students. The marks were very arbitrary and subjective so it was hard to advance in the course once Dan had made an opinion of you. I would NOT recommend the course to anyone.

Dan is the perfect prof to teach this class. His understanding and ability to teach cases is awesome and I learned so many useful skills from powerpoint presentations to presentation styles and techniques. I really liked that each of our cases were videotaped so we could watch them after and self-evaluate. Phenomenal teacher, huge asset to the SOB.

Nice guy, but I didn't learn anything from his lectures - everything was taught in the labs (which is unfortunate. The TA's in this class were too vague and useless when I asked questions) Dan and this class has potential to be good, but they need to manage time better (aka not have 2 hour lectures that no one gets anything out of)

Dan did a good job TRYING to teach. He is funny, but that is where all the good news ends. You will have to take him in bus 201, so remember to just re do your labs about 3 times before the midterm and final.

i give him credit for trying to make the class interesting, but hes just a terrible instructor. out and out lied to students during review session saying the final had not been completed when 90% of the final was from a previous exam. could not do questions during the review session. TA's were rude, ignorant, and overall just useless.

Boring class, but all the lectures are on the E-Cam, so if you don't feel like sticking around on Wednesday afternoon, you don't have to. Dan was fairly interesting and funny most of the time. We had a "situation" with an exam leak and Dan and the Business department handled it fairly well. So I guess props to him for that.

An alright instructor. I give him credit for trying to make the class interesting & answering students' q's when asked, otherwise, I learned nothing in this class. It was more of a leisure class, u learn everything(well,the basics) in the labs. A great guy to go to for hw or concerns about the course, but not a great prof.

Sucks that you HAVE to take this class in business, because it really REALLY sucks. The class has like 17 TAs, all of whom are totally useless. They're purposely vague and unhelpful when answering questions. Very Pointless class. Oh, and get the answer keys for 2-yr old exams - Dan's too ****ing lazy to change the questions on the finals anyway

okay prof is good guy. course material on the othre hand is a bitc*. I recommend you take mgtsc 352 or mis before this class if you can. This class is really irrelevant except for the labs which you should attend no matter the cost!
