Comment:

This professor and his class were perhaps the biggest waste of time and tuition. Very unhelpful, his T.As were incompetent, marked unfairly, doesn't reinterate how the material we are taught fits into the course as whole. Class was health geography, though us (geo students) were shortended with his narrow minded focus on the health aspect only.

a waste of my time and money... i just took it because it sounded the best amongst all the geog classes i could take to fulfill my BEd admissions. it was cool that class was let out early most of the time, but it seemed like we werre talking politics, not geography.

Most worthless class ever! All he did was post tables from the text on the overhead and point out the most obvious thing about them! Completely unorganized and scattered. TA's lecture was the most worthwhile (which is sad). Missed about 5-6 classes, let class out 20 mins early and doesn't do any of the marking! What is this guy getting paid for?

TERRIBLE CLASS. I took the class a year ago and Im still mad at the guy. All he talked about was the damn SmartCar Vending Machine in Europe...not quite sure what it had to do with CANADIAN geography. Instructions about exams and what to study were TOTALLY unclear. Worst class Ive taken at UBC.

I thought he was great! He is so engaging, funny, and really relates the content well to life. Two thumbs up! If you are taking it for Education Prereq, I recommend this course, but be prepared to work hard, his final was HARD!

Nice enough and approachable, I suppose. We always got out early which was sweet. Exams aren't too hard, as long as you study - he likes to throw out random facts sometimes, so beware. Course was interesting, although he made some borderline un-PC comments... :s Not bad though.

Buzzelli was definitely an entertaining lecturer. He somehow tangents into bitter yet funny anecdotes about how he envies rich people..keep an ear for SUV stories. His tests are simple and straightforward (no suprises). Not very helpful with questions though. the Project is taxing but you'll do fine

This class was reasonable. The prof. is nice and helpful. At times, he likes 2 make jokes. He used alot of figures and charts from the textbook in the lectures. Always got out half an hour earlier. he is sometimes approachable, and does no email!! good prof.
