Comment:
Hey is a not a great professor takes his sweet time grading things and then is very rude. He expects you to memorize over 1200 pages of book material for test. I would never take another class from him even if it meant not graduating from college because I had not passed his class

Professor Hunt isn't the easiest person to impress. He is the hardest grader I've ever had and is pretty hardcore when it comes to the proper use of the language i.e. no slang is allowed. Make sure you have a dictionary of some sort or he will drill you on grammar. If there is a Spanish tutor, I encourage visiting them, your papers may demand it.

Dr. Hunt is incredibly intelligent, it's kinda scary. He loves what he does and is more than willing to help you. Spanish isn't my thing so I didn't enjoy the class as much as others.

This man rambles on for hours and leaves you more confused than you were to start with. Even the smartest kid in the class could not answer some of his questions because he is unclear and uses advanced language. He takes forever to give assignments back (weeks to months). Gives great feedback though and can resubmit corrected assignments.

Hunt is an interesting professor. I really enjoyed his class most of the time because he taught us fun things like how to say "transvestite" in Spanish. He does lots of group work in class and online homework everyday. However, he goes on a lot of useless tangents comparing Spanish to the other million languages he knows. A fairly easy A.

First off I suck at Spanish, Hunt is really great at seeing you try to learn and giving you a curve on a grade, as long as you show you are working things will work out. As a teacher he is sometimes unclear, usually goes on tangents, and always goes over time in class.

I hate actually going to this class. If attendance wasn't required, I wouldn't attend class. His digressions are pointless and frequent. Teaching is very slow, as he hasn't taught 101 in 12 years.

Comment:
Professor Hunt knows alot about Latin American literature and culture, but he tries to convey the essence of it all in one semester in every class he teaches. It's complete overload, so it makes for a difficult educational experience. He doesn't care if students learn, and he clearly doesn't like to actually teach. He just likes to talk about span

Just avoid his class if you can. He doesn't explain things well in class. Very mono-tone. Spends most of class talking about his political views and not the subject. Try to get a different teacher if you can.
