TAKE KNOLL!!! Proboably one of the worst professors VU has! Makes test questions up to trick students and makes them impossible!!! LITERALLY!Generally has at least a question a test thrown out because he tried to trick students and luckily otehr good profs stand up for the fact of it being IMPOSSIBLE! *******TAKE KNOLL!!!********

Terrible teacher. Goes over powerpoint slides word for word and teaches no more than what is on. will not explain anything. and worse of all, says the work "okay" every other word. don't take a class with this guy.

This professor is not great. He is rather condescending to students and has little to no clarity (Ex: In his class notes, he states fusion the same as freezing a substance. Fusion is an act of Melting!) Also, he admits to purposely making up nonsensical questions in order to trip up his students. Take another teacher for Chemistry if possible.

Not a great professor overall due to lack of clarity, condencending behavior towards students, and joy of tricking students by means of questions that do not make sense. When students are trying to learn new material, the last thing they need is someone who makes the subject more difficult than it needs to be.

Not bad, not great. Definitely take Clinton over Knoll. He is decent at explaining things but can be condescending when you ask questions in class. Quizzes are written by Knoll. Barely used the book but it's good for practice. STUDY HARD for tests--he'll make up questions that try to trip you up.

The lab is very hard and long. He is not a very good teacher if you are a guy. If you are a girl, take him, he will be helpful. Otherwise avoid him. He also does not keep things confidential that he should. He also reads the evaluations that you send and figures out who you are.

He is helpful and nice to have as a teacher. I would not say he is easy but he is not to hard either. In lecture he does not use the book so instead of wasting 150 dollars you need about 10 I think for his note packet, which is nice.
