This guy really knows his stuff. Absolutely a pleasure to be in his class. As long as you're willing to put in the effort, he's gonna do what he can to help you out. Probably one of the most interesting/applicable classes. Actually makes this apply to the real world which is rare.

Don't listen to the naive freshman. Take it from a senior engineer like me. This guy knows his stuff. He is probably one of the more intelligent professors within the ISE department. He does teach A LOT during class though, but when you get to this level, you should expect that to happen. If you do not go to class, you will fail.

Great professor! Excellent communicator, really knows and loves his subjects. You will learn A LOT from him, but he will expect you to work. (I notice low ratings from the freshmen. No surprise, his talents are wasted there...)

Lectures are slightly boring. Material is not hard, but too much facts. Not much to learn and a lot of common sense. He is clear, but gets boring. final and midterm will be easier than you think, but there are lecture-specific question which are ridiculous.

Its a required class, unfortunately. He is completely absorbed in himself and shows off every chance he gets. He spent one entire class showing off his 'toys' and all the stuff he has, saying you could be as cool as him when you graduate from cornell to be an engineer. You don't need to show up. I went to 2 classes and got a 93 on the final.
