Dr. C is hands down best professor I've had - funny, enthusiastic, intelligent, fair but not a pushover. You know what he expects at all times and he basically slaps you upside the head with clues on what might show up on exams/quizzes. All of this plus he will bend over backwards if you need something. You want to have this guy in your corner!

Dave is one of those professors who you can tell loves what he does. The class was based around 4 exams and 4 quizzes. Quizzes are easy, exams are a little more difficult, so study up! This is not a blow off class! He literally gives you the notes, you just have to fill in the blanks. He will let you know some of the test questions in advance too!

Dave is very enthusiastic about meteorology. His way of teaching is not so great, in my honest opinion. His lecture notes are endless, and half the time not everything in the lecture is in the lecture notes as he says. Tests are hard, STUDY and READ THE BOOK! He does NOT like giving man points out. 3 hours of homework for 10 points, cool!

Has an extremely effective yet idiosyncratic way of lecturing (e.g., WOOSHKIE, Grandma Goody references) that makes the material memorable and easy. Useful homework assignments on statistical methods. Exams are short-answer but fair and easy. Very helpful and essentially has an open-door office. A good man. Best at NIU. Take his classes! Rate: A+.

Oh yeah, this guy is one of the most fun teachers you will have in your life. His tests are hard, so study appropriately! Just a likable guy, and goes out of his way to help students succeed and guide them on their particular path. What a great guy, and you learn A LOT! Highly entertaining! Wooshkie, Woofum!

Excellent, enthusiastic, high energy teacher. Gets people involved in the lectures by his avid story telling. Uses a lot of body movement & tells you when something will be on the tests. Very accommodating. Attend the lectures- they are fun and he's a really nice professor

AWESOME Professor!! I am actually taking his class over now not because he is a bad instructor, it was my fault, but his lectures are awesome and motivative and he is willing to sit with you until you understand the material. He also curves the test which is also a big help and he tells you what to expect on his quizzes! Overall great instructor!

The best professor I've ever had at any college and I've attended several. An Ivy League calibur professor. If only every prof was as excited about their subject as Dr. Chagnon. He puts everything into his lectures and cares about the success of his students.

The most entertaining professor at NIU! He uses really outgoing teaching methods to capture the students interest in the material. Tests could be pretty difficult, but he curves them appropriately.
