Many points in class are in the exams, be ready to work for your grade in exams. Lecture is boring and his lecture material is straight off the PowerPoint, unless he explains something, then comes out the confusing analogies.

This course (Project Mgmt) was very heavy on busywork. There is a semester-long project where there is group work due every single week. In addition, quizzes, discussion board posts, tutorial assignments, etc. are also due weekly. Larson was not a bad teacher, but is not very helpful. If you don't need this course for a requirement, don't take it!

There is a lot of content and a lot of homework. Unlike other online instructors at UIS, Larson is engaged. Ask a question on the discussion board and he answers the same day or next. Email is the same result. Grading is fair and completed every week. You know where you stand at all times. UIS needs more like him!

AVOID his online classes, esp if you are distance learning. He makes you use proctors, likely costing you extra money. His blackboard page is disorganized, and uses all attachments instead of pages. Snarky replies to questions. Spend twice as much time navigating what he is asking for than doing the work. Avoid if you can!

This class is a lot of work. There is a lot of material to cover, plus you are doing a group project that lasts the entire material. The professor does a good job presenting so much material, and if you study the practice quizzes and online questions, the exams will be really easy.

There is a lot of work that you need to do for this class. However he is very forgiving for his online class. Rarely an issues if you turn something in a day or two late. The exams are right from the quizzes and he gives you practice ones that you can take before the exam. Study from the practice quizzes and exams will be easy.

He's friendly and very fair. Always replied to emails quickly and always answered every question asked. VERY ORGANIZED. He gives 5pts for each attendance as incentive to show up to class. He has comprehensive real-world experience which I found to be a plus.

Class materials were very disorganized and sometimes required more time deciphering than actually doing assigned work. Guidelines for assignments would sometimes show up the day before an assignment was due.
