Very hard, but thats not what bothered me, we had to buy 3 reading books, a workbook (which her name was under the cover and we never once used it!) and a textbook, on top of that the text book she ordered was a shorter addition, i think i was able to trade in one of the reading books at the buyback at the end of the semester!!!

I thought I would have to drop this class, but I hung in there. Even though most of the classes were 50 minutes of straight through lectures, the few role-playing scenarios and movies helped lessen the load. Lots of reading and material for the final, but I learned a lot.

She is the worst. And I wish I would have dropped her. If you do not write word for word what she wants she will give you a 0 on the essay. If you go for help she will tell you how bad of a writer you are. She is a bad person.

Very hard but good teacher. She likes to lecture for most of the period but incorporates roleplaying scenarios and movies into her lecture. Her midterms are very hard but she is willing to let u revise them and she doesnt give much HW. Overall very hard but good.

before college, i had all A's in my history courses, advanced ones at that. but for my midterm i received a 33%... that was better than a few other ppl in the class too! she's not a great teacher... very difficult

I agree with every single comment made by everyone else. The worst professor I had at BW. Incredibly boring, made students feel very incompetent if they didn't know every single detail about the subject. A LOT of reading is required. People barely passed this class...tons of C's.

Dont ask just know by far the most terrible experience a BW student could have. A boring class that made me feel like dropping out of college. If your searching for an A you are on an impossible mission. Everyone was given a C or worse on midterm.
