He's approachable but be careful, once I asked him a question and he talked for two hours, and most of it was his personal life! Yes, he trails from the topic a lot. He does tries to help the students a lot, but he's not very good at teaching. He also gives advice all the time.

Hmmm... mixed feelings on Dave. Get on his good side and you're laughing but try to understand his lab instructions and you might just want to bang your head against the table. And don't take it personally when he screams at you, everybody gets it at least once.

He is obviously a rather smart man but, shouldnt be teaching. He is very approachable but lacks ability in lectures. He spends more time talking about how much he wants his students to succeed than he does about the actual course.

Dave is the BEST! People give him a hard time,but he'll go out of his way to help you. Just ask. He really wants people to UNDERSTAND and that's why some people hate him, but he is truely one of the kindest people I have ever met. I LOVE Dave, give him a chance.
