I have no idea what the bad review was talking about. Dr. Black is one of the few professors who has completely changed my outlook on life and ministry. He is incredibly humble, caring, and passionate about the Lord and his field. His class is full of insight on general ministry, easy to comprehend teaching in Greek, and still ends an hour early.

Comment:

While a brilliant man who wrote a brilliant book that makes Greek as easy as it could be, he spends more time on his soap box in class than lecturing. He can also be very demeaning if he thinks you should already know the answer to the question you're asking. Greek is hard work, and I wish I'd taken a professor who would teach me instead of preach.

Brillant man who knows Greek better than anyone. Great textbook that he wrote that makes the language easy. Not very helpful outside of class. Can be demeaning to students who struggle in his class.
